  • The fact that we get free documentaries on YouTube by National Geographic is truly a gift 👍👍👍 May I also remind you the fact that around 15-20% of innocent North Korean civilians perished due to indiscriminate aerial bombardment during Korea war. Moreover, over a million innocent North Korean civilians also perished in famine due to never-ending Western sanctions..Fact: North Korea is considered by many independent research organizations as the most harmonious and morally upright nation in the world.

Respect to the cameraman for filming this and finding a way to escape...
  • Imagine going through your old year book just to find out that Kim Jong - Un happened to be your classmate or remembering the time you beat him at baskeetball

Huge thanks to everyone involved in making this amazing documentary.
  • @Odhil95
I love how this documentary started with: "Yes, this is the terrible North Korean dictator's life and how he rose to power" and we ended with: "Yeah, but the sister is worse".

Ever since I was a kid, I've been watching National Geographic. They always have the best documentaries. Them teaming up with YouTube is so awesome now that cable TV isn't like it used to be. Top notch video as always.

A very interesting documentary since there are so many new information in than usually in such kind of. Highly recommend to watch this. 👍🏽
  • It is actually crazy to learn about how exactly he killed his brother, and how complex the operation was, and the fact the girls who killed him didn't even know they were killing him and thought it was just a prank. That is just crazy.

imagine being friends with a korean kid in your class and then 20 years later, he becomes the dictator of the world's most mysterious country

If Kim knew what the world thought of his haircut his barber would be dead seconds later.

Its actually pretty incredible how they pulled this off. Despite it being an awful crime, apart of me is impressed with how they planned this perfectly. Its actually pretty terrifying.
  • I like how he scans the room to see who's not clapping hard enough. Then when he's done, he gives a slight hand gesture and everyone stops immediately.

  • A very interesting documentary! Thank you for producing this kind of content, I learned a lot—a well detailed and informative documentary. You deserve a recognition 🙌
  • Really well done. As a North Korea documentary addict, this one is one of the best.
  • I'll always remember a interview with a ex North Korean army soldier. When he came to the U.S. and went to a grocery store he couldn't believe it he thought it had to be propaganda. Then he had them stop at another random store. He cried saying it was real because there's no way of guessing he whould stop twice. He was just in awe. Very sad tbh.
