It is a capsule hotel with many free offerings.
Rice, miso soup, eggs, drinks, alcohol, etc. are free.
It's close to downtown Nagoya, so it's a great place for a long stay!
This is the Nagoya branch of the "Anshin Oyado" capsule hotel in Kyoto, which we introduced previously.Β₯

I like this no talking approach. Keeps the vibe of the places intact and doesn't disturb anyone.

Sadly that would never fly in the US. I can only imagine people stealing the complimentary products, over indulging the free food and liquor, being noisy, etc...Im American, and its sad, but trueππ

When I heard the first time that people in Japan live in internet cafes or capsule hotels I couldn't understand it. But it's cheaper than renting an apartment, you have hot springs, massage chairs, working spaces with free wifi, everyday drinks and a minimum to eat, all stuff that costs when you own an apartment. It's really a good thing for a while, during studying or for a half year till finding something. Awesome what capsule hotels have. It'll be possible to travel around Japan without any luggage because everywhere it's possible to clean the clothes while wearing hotel dresses and toothbrush, hair stuff..... everything is everywhere. That's awesome

Itβs nice that the guy in the other capsule finally stopped coughing by 7:30am.

I work in a bed and breakfast here in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Customers usually pay almost double this price (U$50,00) just to have a small room and a very cheap breakfast. EVERYTHING ELSE is not covered. The contrast between a 3rd world country like Brazil and a 1st world country like Japan is astounding.

I love how rule number one for the bath was "No drunk people" :D

We're known to be quite nice here in Canada. However, I'm sure if you asked most Canadians who we thought were the nicest people/culture/way of life... We'd say the Japanese. Not only do they seem to be awfully charming, interesting people at a glance but from what I know of, the Japanese Canadians or visitors to Canada, make a country a better place. Their creativity and imagination is off the charts. Their attention to detail (chefs kiss).

As an American Iβm so envious of the way Japanese culture is. Everything is so beautiful, organized, clean, respected and taken care of. Most of the free stuff would be stolen or messed with or destroyed here. If Tokyo wasnβt so expensive, Iβd move there in a heartbeat. Also, everywhere you go everything is relatively quiet. The people seem to respect others by not being over enthusiastic or loud for the purpose of being loud around others.

I like that you express gratitude for the meals and slippers.

Two things. 1)The prices seem to be pretty good. 2) It's a good thing there's a women only lounge, probably helps with their piece of mind, which is great. Side note, it'd be nice if they had a corner for RPG books (like D&D or Rifts). Also, Rice goes good with Sriracha Sauce, clears the sinuses on a cold, winter day.

I want to live there. It looks so cozy and so much of your day you don't have to worry about

Thank you for these videos! I've been wanting to visit Japan and I'm glad to find that there are affordable places like this with wonderful amenities. In the U.S. these kind of places could never happen. I enjoyed the video!

I Love the content and the quiet !!! β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ Awesome job teaching us about Japan !!! πππ Thank you !!! ππ

I love how much this is focused on providing optimal service. People who worry about such an idea being abused if implemented in their own culture might want to thin about how much it would change a society if this became a mainstream habit. I first heard of these capsule hotels five to ten years ago. Instantly loved the idea and would like to see it in the UK to help young people avoid homelessness by being able to keep their expenses down and become much less vulnerable to landlord whims and superiority in the class system.

What a peaceful, spotlessly clean place, and only $29! How are they making money? Oh and anyone from the UK would drink that free bar dry! π€£

Your country is so calm and quiet. I wish I could live there.

If I work in Japan, I'd probably just stay in a capsule hotel like this. The 30-day stay is way cheaper than paying monthly for an apartment plus you get a bunch of free stuffs.

Awesome videos. Thanks. I think you looked like Obi Wan Kenobi in those museum clothes!
