  • @FidgetAndFreon
Thank you for this. In 1966, my third grade teacher read this book to us a chapter a day after lunch when we had our heads on our desks for a rest. This book is the only one I specifically recall.

This just showed up on my feed! Im so happy! My 4th grade teacher read these books to our class. I loved them so much that I bought the complete set and read them to my children before bed when they were young. I have kept them for many years. Ill be 70 in March. I absolutely cant wait to listen again!!!!❤😊🎉

I’m 61. I read all the books when I was a little girl. I just loved them. I remember the simple little illustrations. I wish the world was still this simple.
  • @angiejones3714
Can you please do some more of the little house books? We'd all be grateful! ❤
  • @MadgeGreen
My beloved 4th grade teacher, Mrs. Bledsoe, read our class these books. They meant the world to me, because I had never been read to before, nor did I own any children's books. They opened my mind to another world and my imagination. I am excited to listen to this story again, and to remember Mrs.Bledsoe, who is long since passed, but never forgotten.

My mother is an Ingalls woman. This is part of my family history.
  • I am 65 and these have ALWAYS been my favorite books. My mom used to read a chapter to us every night at bedtime.❤

I remember being little, my momma bought me every book Laura Ingles Wilder wrote and she would make us hot chocolate and climb in the bed getting cozy and she would read me a chapter or two every night. I miss those times so much. Thank you for this it brings back such good memories...
  • I'm 70 years old and I remember my Mother bought me the whole series as a child. I remember curling up in bed reading these books. I loved them! I have a vivid imagination and was transported into her books as if I were there. Wonderful series to experience.❤❤❤

I was raised on a farm in the 60s and 70s. We raised and butchered our beef, pork and chickens. We could have gone to grocery store where we would not have a clue how these animals were fed or what they were fed. I still do the same as many other country families still do. For those of you who think this is cruel will be in big trouble when the grocery stores are empty as they almost were just a couple yrs ago!!! I urge you to learn how to do this as times are getting very dark. I was in Ukraine 13 yrs ago and every family was growing their own vegetables and their own meat.

My Grandma knew her. She was a regular person. I think relatable due to her down to earth style.
  • @pattrogich9154
This took me back to the late 1940’s, when I read this book. 😊 I read all of her books 📚. The young children of today should hear these story. Love them ❤.
