People snortoling their farts for eachother on iSmell is possibly the greatest thing i have ever heard

Snap Spectacles dropped 15 miles from my house. I made it there in 30 minutes. The stampede had ended in 10.
  • the ismell could actually probably be used to great effect for things like meditation and general stress relief; can you imagine being able to call up the smell of petrichor on demand? or a field of flowers? the smell of a bonfire? the beach? combine that with some asmr and it kinda sounds magical tbh

The Netherlands had quite a solid system for covid tracking. It constantly sends out a Bluetooth signal containing a code. When you are close to someone else, it exchanges codes. Once someone was tested positive in an official testing facility, they would send a notification to all phones that pinged your code the past 5 days. Fully anonymous, no data tracking, no GPS, just a smart use of Bluetooth. And most important; it was quite cheap to develop.
  • My favourite addition to the Track and Trace app was that it also didn't take into account vertical distance, so if you're on the bottom floor of a skyscraper, and someone pings 100 floors up, guess what: you've got covid!

Tailor: "How tight do you want the shirt?" Arun Maini: "Yes"
  • I actually think the Kinect was just marketed wrong because it’s a great 3-D motion capture camera if you do animation, and now they’re highly sought after, but she can’t get them, because Microsoft stopped making them once they found out that you could use the connect for motion capture

The Vita was such a well designed and fun console. Sony just gave up on it too soon. They needed fun games, marketing, and a price drop. But that all cost money that they didn’t have in the early 2010s when they were in a dire financial situation. I still loved my vita and I played it all throughout my high school days.

Honestly, I think iSmell was just ahead of its time. I think with VR being somewhat big today, this would have been a perfect compliment to a VR setup.

While talking about Marvel, you wore the Time Stone. Attention to detail, wow.

I enjoy your videos. I really appreciate that you just do it, you just shove the information to us, no unnecessary talking lol, I appreciate that. ❤️💪
  • OMG When I was 18 in 2006 I had the Blockbuster knockoff Netflix. Lol Nobody ever remembers this when I bring it up, I was starting to think I imagined it lol
  • @miesteryt
Fun Fact: the creator of Netflix started it because he was annoyed that he got a $40 fine for a late return

I’m pretty sure Microsoft bob was the reason comic sans is a thing lol
  • I remember having both the PSP and the Vita Some of the major upgrades for me were moving away from the disks in those barely protective shells, to an actual cartridge. Bringing the touch pad tech over from the PS4 controller. The fact that it was able to connect to, and be used in conjunction with, a PS4. These things made it really stand out as a handheld. It was just a shame the battery life was pretty bad for the intended use of the Vita

Microsoft deserves the award 'Most appearances in a mrwhosetheboss fails video'

11:05 I've haven"t seen them so happy while being rickrolled...

The iSmell is still a good idea in my head. Just not for consumers. They had the right idea for cinemas, but now with immersive technology like VR, escape rooms, theme parks it really would've added an extra layer.

Back in the 90s, IE had a major advantage, since Microsoft integrated a lot of proprietary tech into it and then sold webpage development tools that would liberally use them. Since those tools were integrated into IE and not available to other browsers like Netscape, a lot of pages only rendered properly when viewed on IE (and in case of ActiveX controllers, on Windows OS). This also led Microsoft to create a frankenbrowser called Internet Explorer for Unix (based systems).
