Wireless Redstone in Minecraft 1.16+ Survival (Reliable + Unlimited Range)

EntityID-based wireless redstone. Works on minecraft 1.14+ servers. It has an unlimited range, receiver and transmitter have to be placed in the same dimension. The number of possible channels in the design from this tutorial is 4096, but adding more repeaters allows using more channels. This design is using a 20gt clock to allow using daylight sensors for synchronization, but faster clocks can be used with minor changes. The system is very reliable if it is used on a server and not in singleplayer worlds. I believe that chunk generation can theoretically be picked up by the receiver by accident, but generating chunks by flying around for half an hour did not cause a single false trigger from a receiver.
If you have any problems with the system, either write a comment or ping me on the scicraft discord.

Lol i bet ilmango is just gonna make a timelapse installing this into EVERYTHING on scicraft

Now imagine. Every location on a server has stasis chambers. Each one is controled by one of these. You put in your "pin" in the first 4 repeaters, then the destination "pin" in the last 4. This way every single person can have a selector pannel to send anyone anywhere.

Just the addition of the repeater line to add channels makes this super versatile. Insane discovery, thanks for the detailed explenation :D
  • So if you have, say, 8 different channels transmitting at once, you can essentially send a whole byte of data at once, creating wifi in minecraft, no? Now if you have a bunch of 7 segment displays and a keyboard encoder, you could just transmit a text message to a friend anywhere on the server, so long as the relevant chunks are loaded, right? This opens up so many possibilities.

I have been doing Redstone for years, and this, by far, is the coolest thing I have seen
  • @pixeils
So this is the secret thing you and process were working on, very cool. Nice explanation.

This is some next level shit I know you from SciCraft videos, and now I was recommended this, without being subscribed or anything! I'm glad I'm here though, and hope others will find here too! :D
  • @sam1285
Very cool! Channels are also so easy to adapt and it’s a lot easier to build then previous wireless redstone concepts.

Had to come here from Cube's video and congratulate you in person, this is incredible work
  • @midshadow
This seriously needs more views and likes! I'm blown away by how cool, versatile, and amazing this is! Very impressed you figured this out! Thanks for sharing
  • @Firigion
Wow, this is so clean, elegant and versatile! Congrats =D
  • @hibiscvs
Nice! I haven't watched the video yet but I was trying to implement my own receiver and transmitter, I get the concepts but i'm having a bit of trouble, hopefully this should clear up. Good job!

Works on the 1.18.2 survival server that i play on. This is incredibly cool! Truly genius.
