Magatte Wade is a serial entrepreneur, inspirational speaker, and visionary business leader with a passion for creating positive change in Africa. She is the founder and CEO of SkinIsSkin.com, “the lip balm with a mission,” and is dedicated to reducing racial discrimination while creating jobs and prosperity in her home country of Senegal.

Magatte joins Dr Peterson to discuss her emigration from the third world, and how this influenced her unmitigated belief in capitalism and the free market.

  • Thank you again so much for having me on your show, Dr Peterson. Thank you for the opportunity to share my message with a much broader audience. And thank you to each single person who took the time to listen. It takes a village. With Love and Gratitude - Magatte
  • I'm an African, a student of finance in Botswana and this is one of the most important podcast I've come across in a while, it has reconciled and brought together ideas that I have been trying to figure out in isolation, I'm truly grateful for the knowledge and will take it further into my future endeavors

I got goosebumps listening to this interview. It's incredible. While America is fighting for pronouns, here's an incredible woman who's actually fighting for what her continent needs. Wow just wow❤
  • @KrisLI1408
That's the true meaning of strong and Independent woman. Being an Immigrant moving to second country, making six figure in her 20s, then try to help her folks back in her home country is remarkable .

This is what happens when you let intelligent adults speak honestly... When censorship is removed, all of a sudden things start to make sense...
  • “When you are in solution mode, you’re no longer a victim” - Magatte Beautifully said and love her.🙌🏽
  • @dml_32
I hardly comment on YT, but this has to be the most astonishing conversation I've ever come across. I can feel the passion in every word spoken. Thank you both!

I dont even know how I can be so grateful for what Jordan is doing. We owe Jordan sooo much. And others who are fighting the intellectual fight. Thank you all so much.
  • As a Jamaican, a person living in a former slave colony, to hear my own thoughts echoed by this wonderful lady is refreshing. I will have to keep pondering, my nation needs a solution as well.
  • "English is only my 4th language Jordan, so please excuse me if I stumble on my words." Girl bye! 🤯 This woman is amazing! This is what modern day super heroes look like 🔥

I am from the Democratic Republic of Congo, but now I am resident in the USA. While listening to Magatte made me think about my experience when I came in the Unites States. I saw infrastructures and other opportunities I benefitted so far in this country as an immigrant, and wondered why political authorities of my country whi have traveled in Europe and America ansd see these things but couldn't replicate that back in our country? I learn a lot from this conversation and I for a moment forgot about my question but today something shifted in my mind...

“When you are in solution mode you are no longer a victim”! This interview is so powerful in many ways. I’m applying a lot of what is being said to my own personal struggles. Only 26 minutes in but I’m incredibly captivated!
  • @soxlearning
"When you are on solutions mode, you are not a victim." Powerful and true.

This conversation has answered many questions that were in the back of my mind for a long time. My family has Puerto Rican heritage, and you see many of the same issues that affect poorer countries. The tourism trade is like a blindfold that covers the reality of what it's really like to live there. Often people tend to blame colonialism, but, obviously, it's plain to see that it's the over regulation that stops so much from happening. Thank you Magatte for keeping you mind and heart open to God and articulating your experience. (And willing to do something the right thing about it.) And, thank you Jordan, for addressing this controversial topic.
  • @Jamiepyle1
I love how he picks her brain a little bit and makes her think even more about why she thinks what she thinks. She is awesome! She has a fire in her heart to do what she does! Thank God she is pursuing this fire! She is changing the world for the better!

Beautiful to see the PSYCHOLOGIST in Jordan come right out during this interview. As an African young man, I am exponentially grateful to God for Jordan's life.

How in the Gods name Jordan's Team found this woman? The way she talk with such incredible charm and energy, radiating passion and hospitality. What a beautiful, genuine and honest woman. I hope her voice can reach broader audience with this. Beautiful content as always.
