► RECORDING TECHNIQUE: For this recording, I experimented by blending two microphone sets: the EarthWorks PM40 and the Audix SXC25A-PS. The PM40s have a beautiful rich low and upper end, and the Audix's have a very solid mid range. By mixing the two, I was able to get this very full sound.
► Behind the Arrangement:
This is an original piece that I composed recently. I woke up one morning and sat at the piano and started improvising and this melody came out . At the beginning I had no subject matter in mind, but as I played it, I couldn't stop thinking of my son, who was in my wife's womb at 36 week, so this piece is inspired by him ❤️
