Haulover Inlet in Florida is a popular spot for experienced boaters seeking a thrill. Known for its challenging conditions and strong currents, the inlet connects the Atlantic Ocean to the Intracoastal Waterway and is famous for its rough waves and strong winds, which can make boating hazardous. Despite the risks, many boaters are drawn to the inlet's challenging conditions and the opportunity to navigate through it.

Black Rib Boat stuffed like a Taco!! Do you have any advice for the Captain?
  • I recently got a Wellcraft Excaliber 45 for my wife. It was the best trade I ever made!

The guy with the kid dangling her feet off the front of the boat as they were going out should get pulled over and forced to take a boaters safety course.
  • @NotAsTraceable
The number of people who go through this rough area and don't have PFD on their kids...or themselves for that matter...is concerning.

That little girl on the bow with her feet off the edge In rough water just made me sick to my stomach. How stupid can a dad be to let her ride there in rough water. I can see if they were in a community canal but not there.

Now the guy operating the grey and white Midnight Express impressed me he actually knew how to use it. Thanks

Great video, loved this episode because you included other styles of boats beyond the center consoles. Keep up the good work!

Ok I'm jumping on the bandwagon too. The Dad with the little girl on the bow is certifiably insane. Right under the boat into the props. Unfreakingbelievable. I've seen wayyy too many of these videos endangering kids. Even one where a kid fell so close to the props I was sure I witnessed a death. Is there no marine patrol? My state has a law that PFDs need to be WORN at all times on any body of water that boating takes place. We USED to have a law that you had to have cushions for everyone on the boat. Then we had to have PFDs on the boat for every person. Too many deaths. Now PFDs need to be worn and buckled/tied. I cannot believe a law is not in place at least making the parents put their kids in PFDs

Captian of the Sea Ray had complete control, he was just constantly sawing on the wheel and over-correcting!

Thumb nail should have been Boater endangers Child at Haulover Inlet. But again I guess it’s better click material to shade the larger more obvious boat, than a boater / adult endangering the young girl in a more modest boat.

@5:40 WHY!!!!??? How do people not realize this is how kids DIE!!!??? No lifejacket to start with, but not even that would help if she went over the bow... the boat would run right over the top of her!!!! I simply do not understand the mindset. As a lifelong mariner... I am cringing at this idiot of a father.
