Pavel Sokov is an incredibly talented Impression-realism painter from Russia who is known for his attention to detail portraying interesting characters. From Arnie, Ethiopian stick-dancers to his portraits bring out raw inspiration and detail. He goes into how his dealings with Arnold Schwarzenegger, his trip to Ethiopia and more of his painting process and mindset. I had a great time with Pavel, you're in for an interesting conversation!

I'm a Korean student who wants to start oil painting. In the meantime, I've been watching the video (although I don't understand), and I have a question about the color of the oil painting palette. If you specify a color in the palette and move it to the canvas, the colors don't match a lot. (My palette color is dark gray) Why? What color should I do? I didn't speak English, so I did it with an iPhone translator. Please understand :(
