Judge played great but what Shohei did was from another world

What special about Ohtani is, he makes it look so easy to do two way. And now people downplay the difficulty of two way and appreciate more of 62HR season. No disrespect to what Judge accomplished this season but everyone knows two way in MLB is almost impossible yet he excelled in both pitching and hitting for 2 straight years. Give some years and those who's been riding the Judge MVP bandwagon, especially those media folks, will realize how special Ohtani was in 2022.

I am an Astros fan and I will admit Shohei Ohtani is the best player in the world and this year‘s MVP🎉

This show gets more impact than 62 home run simply.

His two-way player radar chart is as close to a circle as possible. MVP.

Ohtani, the only reason I watched baseball.

All Yankees fans will chant Judge a MVP this one year of 2022, but the entire world’s baseball fanbase knows Ohtani is the only MVP to the sport.

This season again, Ohtani brought many fans who did not have an interest in baseball before, to MLB.

Judge is great and has one of the best offensive season, but how can we even argue what Shohei has been doing all season long? Judge was chasing history until he broke the HR record, Shohei was making history in idk how many occasions.

The Reason why I watched Baseball again. From the Philippines where Baseball has no room.

One thing that kinda gets overlooked is that this guy is a right handed power pitcher and a left handed power hitter. That level of physical talent and coordination is unprecedented.

He is the very reason why I watch baseball games

He probably thinks his competitor is not Aaron Judge or any other players but this year’s himself. His own past performance is the only milestone he wants to surpass because he is making history. His next year will start at 19:00 JST (UTC+9) on March 9, 2023 in Tokyo, Japan when WBC starts.

There is literally no argument that Judge contributed more to his team than Ohtani. Why would we use team success to measure a sport made up entirely of individual battles? Othani is the real MVP.

Let’s not kid ourself, Judge might win the AL MVP of 2022, but Ohtani is the MVP of baseball in general
