I love the logic here. Getting out of your sub while thousands of meters deep to fix the hull damage due to the immense pressure.

Back in the day, there wasn't any teleportation, you could fall down dozens of kilometers, the void had a bottom in some places at around 3000m with a very creepy landscape, they removed it for some reason

If I read that perfectly, it was exactly at 8,192m when you were teleported back up, yes I focused only on the numbers.

For anyone wanting to do this themselves there is a better way, all you need to do is hold the repair tool open your pda then quickly and I mean lightning fast close the pda and enter the prawn suit. Then u can use the repair tool inside the prawn.

The thing with teleportation is that you get teleported 100 meters in any direction from 0,0 coordinates. So that's why you and your crab got teleported away from each other. Also the distance to from the capsule to the edges will be longer in some places, as the capsule is never on the 0,0.

there are 2 ways I know of that are possible to do this, the easiest one is repair tool glitch Prawn Suit, other one is keep an abundance of Ion power cells on you and in the cyclops storage and just use the shield generator the whole way down, although i am surprised you made it all the way down by repairing the prawn outside of it so, kudos I guess, I also liked your idea with the floaters, I personally would've experimented with other objects, ones that are larger and flatter but nice job overall

try installing a mod to allow placement of base pieces mid-air, and then build a scanner room at the bottom, and pilot the drone deeper
