About time you fixed the lights and transmission...8 years to late.
  • @somberrhombus
That super high roof option is a blessing for my van life build at 6'3". Hopefully I can get one ordered before the heatdeath of the universe.
  • @BBBYpsi
If somehow they can make that second row of seats slide down into a bed would really be nice for those drivers that are OTR & delivering in multiple states. Gives them a actual bed to sleep in.
  • @papafour3115
I like all of the new improvements. Went to order one and was told by three different dealers that it would take seven to nine months for delivery.😳

I love Andre's videos! They're always informative without fluff or dramatization like some of the other TFL hosts. He always asks the right questions, is super clear with intention, and has his ear to the ground about consumer and market trends. Thanks for your awesome contributions, Andre!

I really like the under-seat cut out for long item storage

You know I have never known a dodge that doesn’t rot away or break down. Lately I have been hearing good things and now I am seeing some interesting things that would make me want to change over to ram ownership hopefully that have solved a lot of the rust problems. Thanks for keeping me informed with all your videos on the latest vehicles.
  • I really hope this engine and transmission fixes all the issues known with prior promasters, have spent nearly 20k on the van so far.... currently have 93k miles on it, I've owned it since new in 2018...and it just got a brand new engine and two cats installed. I have details for a class action lawsuit against Stellantis for the older promasters if anyone wants to join.
  • Thanks for the video. Nice upgrades. Wish all wheel drive was available. Great cargo space.
  • You Americans finally get the facelift Europe got several years ago!...... You will not be disappointed when you see this in person, it is one of THE BEST LOOKING VANS on the market

Thanks for the walk around. I am a commercial sales manager and have not seen some of those options yet since they have not hit our showroom yet. Thank you thank you.

Had so many issues with the 2016 Promaster I used to operate. Head lights were a constant issue, it would rough idle at high RPMs while just sitting parked and the transmission was quite rough.
  • @luk_deg
my ambulance service use the promaster since 2015...( 180ish on the road + few spares) hope this new model/transmision setup will be more reliable than the previous version.
  • @RAPTOXCORE
I worked a a place doing delivery work they had a the pro master and the transit van . The bigest problem with pro master is seating hight. It made it a no go for me. I needed to be able to lower the seat down about a foot to be comfortabl. If you can get past that its a great van.
  • @Van_Liberty
The Class B RV builders are going to LOVE that new super high roof model to compete with Transit and Sprinter. I'll bet that Amazon has a Lot to do with this new taller Promaster...
  • @renesagahon4477
Thanks for this very informative video I’ve got a 2019 pro master. A excellent van. But this 23 is very nice too

I'm a plumbing contractor & I had a 2018 Promaster 2500 159WB and loved it !!!! I bought a 2021 and loved it too but unfortunately someone totaled it - but then I bought a 2022 and I guess this was the upgrade year because it has almost all the same upgrades on the dash as this 2023 has....I really love this 2022 even more! It drives smooth, turns tight, the sound system and gadgets are koolll - this new Uconnect device is really trick and much better than the prior ones.....Lots of sensors on this truck but hey, it's all covered under warranty so enjoy the advances in technology. Finally, I have the bench seat that seats 3 - Was skeptic at first but now I'm so glad I have this !! I've driven and worked out of the Fords (Transits high roofs) but I don't like the way they drive nor how you set in the cab....
  • The Ram Promasters start at $46,000 for the base model. He is mum about the drastic price increase. I don't believe for a second they get better gas mileage. It's got the same 3.6 liter engine. My 2020 118" only gets 18 mpg on the freeway unloaded. If you're thinking about van building you're deluding yourself if you think these vans get good mileage. These vans are priced for businesses and you're talking 50 to 60k. You can't get regular insurance for a Promaster. You need expensive commercial insurance, but you may be able to get around it because this particular van has a second row seat for passengers, but a two seater is definitely commercial. The VIN designates it as such so you can't fool your insurance company. AAA doesn't insure vans. I had to get Geico. Don't get me wrong it's a phenomenal van for camping which is why I bought mine. I got mine for 34k but the dealers are tacking on a $10,000 surcharge just because they can. I don't know what this guy is talking about the partition. Those things are the first thing you would take out because it limits your space. The heater and A/C can heat and cool the entire van space. You don't need that partition. I could blast the heat for a few minutes and the cargo hold is cooking hot.
