I AM SO SORRY IT IS BLURRY. I thought it was in focus, but I moved further away from the camera as the video went on and...yeah. Hope you don't mind. The end.

Yay for a new series on my channel!

Make sure to let me know what my focus should be for the next video! I hope you enjoy this :)

  • I love your videos! I'm not a teacher, I'm actually an instructional assistant in a special education class. I'm actually in school for another career. I've been working as an assistant for about a month now and I love it! I'm definitely considering being a special ed teacher now :) It's so rewarding being able to interact with them and help them ! Please keep the videos coming I'm learning so much.
  • Love the 🦕🦖shirt! New sped teacher here! I’d love to know more about how you write goals in an IEP, what to do when you have students who are significantly below grade level and you just don’t have the time to help them individually like you’d like to, your favorite progress monitoring tools, tips and tricks for making schedules work, and any inclusion or Coteaching tips!

    Also Mrs. Norkewicz ,
Make sure that the teachers also build and have a good relationship with the students as well .
If the student does not have a good relationship with the teacher or feels that nothing that the teacher is doing with them is relatable to them and where they are at in life regardless of how far off from the curriculums being taught at the time that it is then forget it because it is not going to work .
Sorry that this is so late but I hope that this helps too .

  • You have a great thiurouvj and simple description! Maybe you can talk more about (IEP with) 504 plan (Asperger’s/ADHD)?

Enjoyed this video I'm going into my first year as a special education teacher teaching first grade can you do a video on some of the tools that all special education teachers should already have in the classroom. I will be co-teaching with a general education teacher in the classroom. I'm not sure if should buy some tools such as cushion seats, sensory tools etc. or wait till I read my students IEP and see from there what I will need. Great Video! #SPEDTEACHERSROCK
