  • Linda is so right about Mexicans. The Mexican people are some of the kindest, most hardworking people I've ever met. All the best Linda!

Man she still has that feisty personality that epitomized her impish stature. Linda is legendary in many ways. God bless her.
  • Forget American idol, and those type shows. Linda Rondstadt is what REAL talent looks like. Never be another like her, ever! What a God given voice she had! She could sing rock, pop, opera, Hispanic, ANYTHING. The power and range in her voice was unreal. I read her book, fantastic. Gorgeous photography, beautifully written! Get a copy! Love Linda!
  • She’s still as beautiful as ever. I wanted to be a Linda Ronstadt and use to sing along with her records. I cannot imagine how heartbreaking it is not to be able to sing. My heart feels for her.

I don’t even speak Spanish but man!! Her Mexican album is so beautiful!!
  • She is 76 years old and still so beautiful. She will always be one of my teen crushes from the 70s with her jet black hair and gorgeous smile!

Her Spanish music is all I play in my car, while I learn Spanish. My Son in law is from Mexico and I worked at a free clinic with a large Mexican population. Just wonderful people who helped any way they could, including holding large Fiestas and giving the money to us to keep our clinic going. They are all a real blessing to me.

Linda Ronstadt has been my one "special star" my entire life. While her musical abilities are extraordinary, it was Linda Ronstadt the 'person' that drew me to her. Kind, generous, talented yet vulnerable from the start. When you dig into her biography you will discover what made her who she became. A pioneering family tree of music, invention, work ethic and love. Her mom was a jewel, a sweetheart whose dad was one of the most gifted American inventors in history. Her dad, a talented singer himself gave up a career in popular music to instead dedicate his life to raising his young family. True pioneers of the great American Southwest that has added untold riches to our amazingly diverse nation. Thoughts and prayers are well deserved towards this woman who gave us so much. Thank you Linda.

Oh my, it breaks my heart to see how this is and has robbed her of her ability to be one of the greatest voices this world has ever known. Yet, she is still so beautiful, and most assuredly isn't looking for pity. Absolutely love her.

We were so lucky back in the '70s to have both Linda Ronstadt and Olivia Newton-John as our songbirds. God I love this woman!
  • Linda is my inimitable hero and has been for 55 years since the first time I heard "Different Drum." I love her unconditionally.
  • Canciones De Mi Padre reminds me of my childhood. My dad's been gone 21 years and this album still makes me feel close to him. ❤
  • Queen of her scene and yet she never bathed in her own reflection. Important pipes surrounded by devoted talented players. No one sings like Ronstadt, not now and truthfully not back when. Rare and remarkable pipes.
  • One of the purest voices to be on our planet... I guess you could say I grew up listening to her in the late 60's and early 70's. Linda... you are a national treasure. God bless you and yours and thanks for so many wonderful songs.

Im 72, old enough to have seen Linda live several times. A beautiful voice and she was able to cross genre of music with ease. She is today as beautiful and caring as she was in the 70s. All the best to you Linda, we still listen .

I love hearing her songs, takes me back to my childhood. My dad went to school with her in Arizona, so whenever I hear her music, it also reminds me of my dad who passed away 5 years ago.

Came home to this interview after having dinner with an old college chum. Talked about one of my life's regrets...not going to see Linda in '76 when she performed at Alumni Hall at our college, St. John's University in Jamaica Queens. My friend said she was great and remembered her singing "Heat Wave." When was she not great?Listened to her "Back in the USA" album on the way home. This wonderful interview capped off my evening. So grateful to her for taking us along on her musical odyssey. Not only has her vast catalog of music enthralled us, but as primarily a cover artist, she has led me to know and explore so many other singers from the distant past. We, her fans, are indebted to her for continuing to share herself and her life's story with us. Her voice remains music to our ears.
