I put Linda in my Rock N Roll Hall of Fame a long time ago.
  • I've never seen a more heartfelt induction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame than Glenn Frey's induction of Linda Ronstadt! I can feel their love and respect for each other in my heart. RIP, Glen. Much love to you, Linda.

"She more than anyone else helped us put together the Eagles."
  • You can see the sincerity in Glenn's eyes as he spoke. You can hear the heartfelt emotion in Glenn's voice at the end. Love to Linda. Respect to Glenn. You both sang to my soul and made my life better.

Ronstadt and Frey- 2 artists of incredible talent, integrity and class. Linda deserved in Induction Speech this good and Glenn delivered.

Glenn passed away in 2016 due to complications from rheumatoid arthritis, colitis and pneumonia. Music has a way of taking its toll on performing artists. This tribute to Linda is one of the best speeches ever prepared for the RRHOF. The lady has great pipes, but that alone is not enough to be considered a great singer, who will be remembered in the future. Linda sings from the heart, with deeply felt emotion and honesty. That connection ensures her place in music history. We love you Linda.

Anyone who doubts Ronstadt's rock and roll cred wasn't there or is a fool. She rocked harder, when she felt like it, than half the posers in the sanctimonious hall. Linda...still the only girl I could listen to forever.

Nice that Glen inducted his former boss lady. She was was generous to the boys around her. Great rock singer and so much more.

He choked up right at the end.....she was surely overdue for that induction....

11 months after Glenn died, Linda did a lovely narration for Eagles biography clip when they were Kennedy Center Honors honorees
  • Queen of her scene. Linda was so down to earth cool - she never seemed to strain vocally or visually. Natural in a world full of posers.
  • One of the most underrated and under appreciated artists. Lady has class soul and a remarkable voice. Well done GF. RIP.
  • When Miss Linda covered your song you no longer owned it. Beautiful voice, beautiful person. Thanks for the memories
  • I had the pleasure of seeing Linda with the Eagles and Jackson Brown during my teens at the Capitol Center in DC. Great vocalist and there will be no other like her again.
  • At my Mexican Restaurant in San Antonio in 1988.....we played "Canciones de Mi Padre" on a continuous loop. If you didn't want to hear it again....we would show you to the door.
