I would like to see "what if flamehearts mutiny against the cap'n didn't succeed and he got banished instead"

I actually think Rare should have Flameheart win within the next two years or so. With Safer Seas being added and thus allowing players to do Tall Tales on a private server, Rare could actually make insane world changes in High Seas. That’s one thing a lot of players seem to ignore… Tall Tales have to be replayable, so Rare couldn’t make too drastic world changes. People would always say that Dagger Tooth should have been the destroyed outpost, but it has a Tall Tale, Golden Sands was the only real option. If Rare makes it so captained ships are available in Safer Seas, I think making it so you can only do at least some Tall Tales in Safer Seas would be a great way to allow Rare to make awesome world changes. Flameheart winning should bring about an almost apocalyptic scenario. TL;DR Rare should use Safer Seas as a way to preserve the map for Tall Tales and then make huge changes to the High Seas world. I hope this makes sense lol

You said "Since Flameheart has the Veil of the Ancients" but that's been in the Pirate Lords possession and stayed that way as of it's last appearance when he used it to help us save Merrick from the Dark Bretheren. So add the Veil to the list of things he needs to have stolen from Ramsey. Also all the talk of Flameheart sailing out of the Sea of Thieves has me cracking up. Imagine, Flameheart, looking for a greater challenge sails out of the Sea of Thieves to take on the Grand Maritime Union and the rest of the world... But as he sails out of the shroud he feels a chill in his bones as his flame heart flickers like a dying candle, he realizes the only thing keeping him alive and immortal was the magic contained within the Sea of Thieves. The ceramic cup shatters, as his bones and coffee spill over his balcony. All that is left is a charred ship holding piles of mundane skeletons as its cargo, adrift at sea.

i think the ending of sea of thieves' story should be a re-playable tall tale where the player/crew decides how they want it to end (through some sort of action) and whatever happens in that tall tale stays in that tall tale and does not impact the main game

I would imagine that Flameheart would have something special in mind worse than death for Duke, as his betrayal was more or less was the direct cause of his defeat the first time.

How has this not blown up yet this is peak storytelling good job

You forgot that Flameheart has a major advantage over Athena's fortune; Flesh is weak, Fire is strong! And as we all know, Athena's fortune members are mostly fleshy (even though there's a lot of ghosts).

Aswell if I put on a tinfoil hat I thought that in the real story in like a couple years the true final fight would be everyone vs the grand maritime union lead by the captain somehow cas they are the villains we probably can never side with

Bro this was sick, good job on it, I am actually excited to see if this happens
  • I imagine Flameheart would leave the SoT to go fight the Maritime Union. SoT being his base of operations, I imagine he would start turning it into a giant fortress area. So for instance every island might get the Fort Merrick treatment with full dockyards so his army of the undead could keep pushing ships out. I actually imagine he would break his word about keeping the SoT a battleground because he would see better use of it to fund his army to take over the rest of the world. So even Reapers not loyal to him would get force conscripted into his ranks or die. Basically the SoT is completely lost. Piracy only exists as long as their are companies to steal from so with no goods flowing into the SoT it would dry up used only as a base so his fleet can remain safe when not hunting..

I think their will be a truce between Ramsey and Flameheart If Wanda and Amarantha join forces with the great Maritine uninion to end piracy both factions value freedom, one is just 100x more chaotic
  • So in otherwords, a Sea of Thieves that is constantly on fire, constant infighting and realistically... a collapse in Piracy through themselves.
  • @captainclassic
What a phenomenal concept! And just as terrifying 💀
  • @sSteppingStones
we need a 'Flameheart takes over the Sea of thieves - (Day by day)'
  • @BIGESTblade
PvP as the only activity? Sounds like a great thing. I'm sold.
  • I mean.. voyages disappearing.. would be an bad from gameplay stand point. but I still think it would be much more interesting if Flameheart did win.. as he is the most Pirate of all of them. and is more fit to be the pirate lord. also from an story point it would make more interesting stories.. cause in majority of stories told.. the bad guys never win. so have Flameheart winning in story would be more interesting to see.
