I honestly thought Messi's goal vs Mexico was the moment of the tournament. Out of all the incredibly amazing, important goals Messi has scored, that one may have been the best. Lost to Saudi Arabia, 65 minutes in to the game vs Mexico. He wills them through with a classic strike. That was the turning point

No matter how many times I watch the scene of Messi's final win, I still cannot help becoming emotional.

Honestly, that save by Martinez in the 120th was the moment for me. That was spectacular.

Things that could have been on the list instead of Pulisic's goal: - Japan upset Germany in their very first game, coming back to beat them 2-1 - South Korea qualifies for the Round of 16 by beating Portugal in the dying moments of the game - Belgium miss chance after chance against Croatia, missing out on qualification due to being unable to score - Cameroon and Serbia draw in a 3-3 thriller - Switzerland and Serbia play out an exciting back and forth game, with the Swiss coming out on top 3-2 and qualifying for the Round of 16 - England ravages Iran 6-2 - Spain utterly destroys Costa Rica 7-0 - Portugal dismantles Switzerland 6-1, with Gonçalo Ramos scoring a hat trick on his debut - Netherlands equalize versus Argentina at the very last minute, coming back from 2-0 down thanks to Weghorst - Harry Kane misses a golden opportunity to bring England level, shooting a penalty far too high - Messi rolls back the years, providing a magical assist for Argentina's third goal versus Croatia - Emi Martinez pulls off the save of the tournament against France at the last minute of extra time The American bias is real

There were many moments in this WC -Messi's performances -Croatia back to back semi-finals -Japans Group Stage -Morocco 1st ever semi-finale -Portugal's defeat (not saying its a happy moment, but its one for the books, CR7 last WC) -France's road to the final and comeback -Mbappe's hattrick in the finale -Emiliano Martinez saves and penalty's -Saudia Arabia win over Argentina(best thing that ever happened for Argentina, in my opinion) -Kane's miss vs France -Lukaku worst performance vs Croatia left Belgium outside the knockout stages -Brazil's dominating Croatia and losing to penalty's -THE FINALE -AND THE GOAT GETTING HIS LAST PEACE OF THE PUZZLE I'm sure there are many more, but Messi winning the WC with Argentina really makes you believe that fairy tale endings do exist!

Imagine hat trick in WC final being 2nd. What a tournament.

When Di Maria scored the 2nd goal against France and celebrated with tears in his eyes, that was my top moment in any world cup.
