The 3DS was basically the perfect 3d system, for one reason: It was an option. After my 3DS bricked itself for no reason (seriously, I didn't do homebrew or anything), I got a 2DS (more specifically a New Nintendo 2DSXL), and... I kinda miss it for Super Mario 3D Land, Majora's Mask 3D, and even Smash 4 before I got Ultimate. It's not necessary, but it actually enhances the experience.
