The beauty of hindsight but on the final hole a Ryder cup match with 1 up lead a putter might have been the better choice less stress & it does the job. Unfortunately clipped it over and ended up putting it anyway to a reasonable distance. Both played well.

Flop shots are so hard to hit well. I didn't like the choice before he hit the ball. I think I would have gone with a bump and run using maybe 7-iron. Still tricky but way less chance of completely botching it.

Rose has become a cracking player.. bet those early days struggling have paid him in good stead.. consistent at The Masters, surely to get a major soon.. unless he gets bored..
