Neil was diagnosed with Parkinson's and retired from touring. He said he was going to continue to write songs and make albums. All us fans still love him and wish him the best.
  • In this whole wide world the only diamond l ever cared for is Neil Diamond. No other diamond can match that joy for me. I am 65 now.
  • Millions of people struggle with difficulties in this life however very few have been as blessed as Neil was as he himself blessed so many around the globe. May God continue to bless Neil Diamond
  • He is absolutely a legend. His music will carry on long after he is no longer with us. His music is unique and he wrote all his own material which makes him extremely talented!❤❤

I met Neil Diamond at the age of 16 (I’m now 61) at Red Rocks in Denver CO. He wore brown slacks and a green shirt (sexy). My first concert and I got a kiss on my cheek by the brightest Diamond ever!!

  • "I AM I SAID...", "African Trilogy" and others are poetry to music that goes way beyond extraordinary. Even the instrumentals within Neil's songs are incredible. Neil is a GENIUS and GOD knows how much talent He gave him... and Neil used it well!

I didn't grow up being a big fan, tho I certainly knew his music. But I have grown to love Neil Diamond's voice and heart. Thank you Sir for your giving to charities and helping others. May The Good Lord continue to bless you 😊❤

I was born ten years after Neil Diamond and loved his music all my life. The song “Morningside” is so sad but I love it and play it often. Thank you for the music and songs Neil. You are gold, pure gold! Chris, Western Australia 🇦🇺.

I've loved his music and his singing. Before the internet, I knew nothing of his personal life.

I had the privilege of seeing him in concert four times. I hold them and him very close to my heart. I was quite ill for one year, and spent my waking hours in bed listening only to his music. My ears got addicted to his voice and even now in crowded noisy stores, I can hear his voice when they play his music, that year was 1986-87. I love him. He was my source of so much joy that scary and miserable year. I feel like i owe him so much. His concerts were so amazing. . . Prople in attendance were gray haired and young, I took my son one of the four times, and we were 14 rows from the stage. We danced and sang. Another really fun time was in the nose bleed section where my friends and I had a ball laughing and joking with so many people around us, and standing high up there dancing hoping not to fall. It was the best time ever. And now I'm grey haired, but his music makes me feel young. I will love him long after he's slipped his earthly bounds.

Neil Diamond didn’t have any unhealthy or creepy obsession with the president’s daughter. The picture of Caroline on horseback, which inspired him for the song title, was on the cover of Time Magazine of 7 September 1962, while Sweet Caroline dates from 1969. The picture he had once seen only gave him the inspiration for the song's title.

I had known Neil Diamond's music from my HS days in the late 60's early 70's. I became a dedicated fan in 1973 when I first listened to his famous album 'Hot August Night' as he performed at the Greek Theater and the 'Tree People' in Los Angles. I must have listened to the album at least three times in a row. Finally some 30 odd years later I had the privilege to attend one of his concerts. Loved every moment of his performance. Still today if I hear his music on the radio and turn up the volume and sing along.... remembering most of the lyrics but not sounding as well as Mr. Diamond.
  • He has been my favourite male vocalist since I was 13. Got to see him in concert. Amazing show! So grateful I got to see him live. I have all his albums!
