"Celine Dion broke down performing on stage tonight. Is this the fall of a legend?" Are you kidding me with that?!?!?! Is she not allowed to grieve?! Jesus...the media really is the worst.
  • @Jakecooks
Ryan Reynolds is hands down one of the most caring actors out there. Heart of gold with that guy who didn't let it all go to his head.
  • @alycenova5841
Ryan Reynolds has always had a kind heart despite his hilarious humor. The fact that he reached out to Celine to sing for his film and basically brought her back is truly amazing. it made me tear up
  • My 40 year old husband died of colon cancer in 2008 and l am still grieving.l will never get over losing him !!!!!! Please pray for me
  • @stevenvalys2693
I hate that this portrayed her grief like a mental breakdown. Shutting down for mental preservation is so different than having a breakdown. She is so strong.

Don’t throw questions at someone crying. Throw your arms around them
  • You can tell how deep her love ran for her husband. She loved him deep down in his soul. That love is rare but when you have it and experience it you never want to let go. It's devastating to lose that kind of love. All I can say is she is in my prayers. She is still beautiful and a legend.
  • My God, Ryan Reynolds is something else! What a great human being. Good on him for doing this for Céline.

If Céline never made another album, never wrote another song or performed ever again, we'd Still be listening to her music. The crown still fits. She's still a Queen.
  • I can't stand it when people say "you'll get over it", don't lie, tell the truth, you'll never get over it, it doesn't get better in time, you just learn to hide the pain so everyone around you feels better

Celine Dion is one of my favorites! I understand how grief can destroy a person. After my mother was murdered I lost 50% of my body weight in a short time. I was no longer able to eat. I felt myself dying. Mom was my only living relative and I had no support because we had moved to a new state 2 weeks prior to the incident. It took a great effort to overcome the devastation and I can relate to Ms. Dion in that way. Each person reacts to grief differently. I'm glad to see she is doing much better! Sending you big hugs, Celine Dion!💕

Grief is the most painful injury there is in my experience. It resurfaces constantly at first then lessens with time. But never leaves completely. I ask God to take the pain so I can survive.

Ryan Reynolds: She's a legend, I love her. Whole world: Agree
  • @SunnyRain0614
Thank you Ryan for saving the life of an icon! You will always be remembered for the genuine character you've shown. Awesome!
  • Ryan is such a blessing to Celine. I believe success has no shortcuts but are ways to go about it; they are below👇
  • I'm sooo feeling this! My husband also died couple months ago, we were a couple since the age of 14. Music and the hope of God is my shelter.
  • @jacintacody133
We are too quick to judge people,we should take a walk in their shoes before passing judgement, sending healing love to Celine 💜
  • When she said she and her husband made one person... yes... that is exactly what it was like with my husband. When I lost my husband 15 months ago... half of me died. When Ryan explains he feels having no support system makes you sick, our bodies become sick from prolonged stress... grief becomes stressful when people expect you to be positive, to help make the rest of society comfortable. Grief is painful... but if you love someone grief is a honest feeling that will come up. It is a natural feeling... it's when we try to stop grief from being felt... that is very dangerous to our health. Society needs to be more supportive of those grieving. Stop telling us to look at the brighter side. Stop telling us we will get over it. Embrace us in our sorrow... someday you will need people to embrace you ... loss is natural... out of order loss is not. No one teaches us it is ok to be heartbroken when out of order loss happens. My husband was 52 when cancer took him. I have allowed every emotion to wash over me... sad, anger, shame, despair, happy, laughter has filled my room as we speak of Tim's funny ways. I do not stop any emotion... but I have been shamed by family for not pushing the happy thoughts out more. I have been shamed for not moving on. I have been shamed for being lost when every cell in me knew only how to live with Tim by my side. 29 years every part of me memorized living with Tim. Every part of me was looking for comfort... it was like every cell felt like fire, every cell was looking for Tim... every cell was aching finding empty space. I wrote this within the early months after losing Tim: I miss your sweet kisses I miss how you said, 'I love you' every single day I miss how your arms felt around me I miss burying my face into your chest I miss how you held my hand when we were out together I miss how you stroked my hair I miss how the room felt when you were here, even though we didnt always talk I miss the smell of you I miss how special you made me feel I miss loving you Every nerve feels your absence I dont feel loved I dont feel secure I dont feel safe in the world you and I created I feel so alone... even when people are near, I feel every single place you filled in my life. Somehow I am supposed to carry on Somehow I am supposed to know how Somehow I am supposed to accept my new life Somehow I am supposed to do it without many people supporting all of the places there is a void Somehow the world keeps moving forward while my world stands still My shattered soul is laying on the floor... waiting for me to step on the sharp pieces Waiting to dig into my bare skin I cant find a spot that is safe to step I manage to pick up a piece... One single piece a day Alone I am trying to get out of this Oh how much faster it would be having people to pick up a few pieces I know people are too busy to help I try to understand As I bend to pick up a tiny sliver, "I miss you, Tim" escapes my lips as a whisper Tears falling My soul waits to shred me Would anyone notice my absence?
