Actors will do all sorts of dangerous things to get that perfect take - but in these instances, the danger was a little too close for comfort and the actors were in really dangerous positions. From driving stunts gone wrong to totally random freak accidents - these actors all experienced what it was like to really be on the edge.
Jennifer Lawrence had a lot of stunts in the Hunger Games films, but the most life-threatening incident she faced was a fog machine that malfunctioned and almost suffocated her in a tunnel. Dylan O’Brien suffered an injury so bad shooting the final Maze Runner film that he broke the entire right side of his face and couldn’t go back to set for nearly a full year. Isla Fisher proved to be a bit too good of an actress when she became trapped inside a giant water tank and nearly drowned without anyone noticing for way too long. Then there are the total freak accidents like the time Aaron Paul was filming Breaking Bad and happened to move spots just moments before a giant boulder fell right where he’d been standing just before.
Jaimie Alexander learned just how dangerous set metal stairs could be when she suffered an injury that could have ended as a tragedy. Then there was Channing Tatum who literally had scalding hot water poured inside a wetsuit he was wearing to keep him warm, but he got a bit too hot - so much so that his skin actually burned! You’ll never be able to watch these films the same way again after knowing just how much danger the actors were in when shooting!

There's something truly terrifying about shooting a scene where you pretend to be drowning, but then you're ACTUALLY drowning and the film crew is like "BRILLIANT acting! Keep rolling!"

Great, but what about the stuntmen and women who earn much less and sometimes work under low safety conditions ? Like Olivia Jackson, who was permanently injured on the set of Resident Evil. Or Joi Harris, who died on the set of Deadpool 2. They should at least be mentioned.

Umm... what the hell did Nathaniel Buzolic do? Just saying he caused an injury to Ian Somerhaulder during a fight sequence without shedding any light on the actual incident is kind of dumb.
