Slay the Spire is legitimately the best card game I have played. I say that discounting the physical comradery experience of playing MTG with friends and having a few drinks while we do... but in terms of digital card video games, Slay the Spire is easily the best.

Why am I watching this video when I already have several hundreds of hours of play in Slay the Spire? It's not like I need someone to tell me how good it is...
  • @itsthesoup11
This spotlight is perfect as I had seen this game on my recommended feed the last few weeks but I didn't know much about it, so thanks for sharing your thoughts. Love the channel.

It’s literally one of the best indie games I’ve played. The modding definitely expands it but the base game is so damn good as a stand-alone.
  • @BuriedDutchman
This makes me wanna play the game again. It has sooo much replayability!
  • @doop00
Got this from Humble Bundle great game indeed I spent a lot of time playing it.

As an active member of the modding community, I want to thank you for continually mentioning all the hard work people put into their Mods. It really is a multi-hundred hour investment into any given mod between art, play testing, coding, etcetera, and to have someone recognize that and promote it means a lot.

Great choice dude, Slay the Spire is by far one of my favorite games to just play mindlessly on hours and never have enough time to play more. It really is a great game
  • @LockpickGamer
I finished watching your Raid video 5 seconds ago and was wondering when that StS video was gonna come out and its HERE NOW WOOOOOOOOOOHHH!
  • @XnathOW
Literally just playing the new hero Watcher as this video releases haha. Its remarkable that I've spend nearly 100 hours into a game as simple as this :)
  • @Death565656
Finally got around to uploading your slay the spire video lol. Been waiting for this.

I'm not really into Card games but I'll give this one a try

Just wanted to thank you for the card game tip. I've seen it playing while you talked in other video's but never knew what it was. It is so refreshing to play a really good card game (solo) now-a-days. I haven't stopped playing it since I bought it. Love it.

TY for making this wonderful review. You said it all. I like how you presented all the aspects of the game in a thorough and beautiful way. This game really took me by surprise in a time where my gaming has taken a back seat to other life activities. I just can;t put this one down. I'm also NOT even a fan of rogue-like or card games in general, but this one combines the genres so well and is so brilliantly designed that it hooked me right in!
  • @SkyGrymm
Couldn't agree more. I got a review copy of Slay the Spire when it was in beta. It's now my go-to chill out game with 400+ hours played and every run is unique.

I just wanted to say I went on a binge of watching your content for a few days I just gotta say I just subbed and idk why the hell it took me so long to do so
  • @Paramontana92
the way you describe things, i don't really see that on other channels as much . Thank you!
  • @JIreland1992
Damn right. I haven’t been able to stop playing it. I think I’ll play it now actually.
  • @AutomatikFux
Happy to see this covered here. I've been playing it on and off since early access. As I lost interest in other card games back then and Slay the Spire felt like it combined cardgame/deckbuilding with a Darkest Dungeon vibe, I was quickly fascinated by the game.
  • @Infyra
This is a good example of how modern board game design can influence new trends in computer games such as Deck Building. It shouldnt cost 45 euro's for the Switch through!
