Had a VERY satisfying run with Defect. 4 claws, 3 All fir One's, 1 upgraded hologram. 2 upgraded buffers for defence with an amplify floating around. Ice cream made the whole thing operable
  • Thanks for the video, most other StS content is an hour or longer. I appreciate your work!
  • Made a drop kick infinite right after watching this video, so thanks for that! 2 Drop Kicks + Double Tap gave me a way to infinitely cycle Ethereal Armor, so I was even able to beat the Heart with it. I'd like to note for new players (like me) trying to make an Ironclad infinite deck: DO NOT ignore exhaust cards. Fiend Fire was consistently clearing 9 cards from my deck (thanks to my draw power, anyways), which was helpful for dumping my Defends and cards that were good for setup but not for the combo (e.g. Battle Trance).
  • I have never actually built an infinite deck but I get the idea. Great content 👍
  • Probably my favorite infinite deck I've achieved was on the silent. I love the silent's non poison or shiv damage sources, and as such you will commonly see me take sneaky strike and eviscerate. But on one run I had two reflex+, two prepared+, three after images, and an eviscerate. I knew this deck would be best if it was slimmed down a lot, so I prioritized removes, but I didn't realize what was happening until I realized I had played prepared like 10 times in a single turn. Unfortunately I didnt't quite have enough removes to have a true infinite against heart (if I got unlucky with draw order I'd draw statuses instead of prepared), but I think I was able to get at least one infinite turn against it. And eviscerate hits hard enough that I didn't even need a full infinite.

Silent infinites can add anything into an infinite engine to deal damage/ provide utility. Backflip to generate block, poison, eviscerate, malaise . Also for infinites dont sleep on purity

for defect you can basically just get infinite mana with recycle skim. then double energy into tempest for the one shot. add some expensive cards to recycle preferably meteor strike. 2x skim 6 card deck with 2xmeteor upgraded recycle and 2x double energy can one shot any boss with a tempest.

I find going infinite on Ironchad the easiest because you don't need to watch deck size as much because pf his easy access to exhaust. Fiend fire, corruption, second wind, burning pact, sever soul, and true grit+ all make it easy to trim your deck down to just your infinite pieces. My favorite infinite is a silly one with reckless charge, evolve, dark embrace, and medkit.
  • One of my favorite runs was prismatic shard run where I got an establishment as the defect with an Equilibrium. Made my coolheaded free along with Sundial.
  • @3hourgames
CAW CAWWW! What's your favorite Infinite deck, and why is it CLAW?
  • @NebulaPurple
Defect's most reliable infinite is Recursion with a Plasma Orb, from Chaos, Fusion, or Nuclear Battery, supported by Coolheaded, Compile Driver, and Skim for card draw, most of the pieces to this are common/uncommon, compared to needing to a find a Rare Relic, it's way easier to assemble

The silent on avg can deal 1701 damage if applying the right cards in the right order
  • @gomethins7738
My first heart kill was with a silent infinite with the main contributors being 2 acrobatics, a tactician, and an eviscerate. Had enough energy, card draw, and a slim enough deck to get excess block in even despite the statuses. (Though I did get an abacus in the final shop anyway. Not necessary, but still really funny)

Alternatively for the defect, you can use a madness on a hologram to make it 0 cost for the rest of combat. Then you only need hologram and turbo in discard with all for one to infinite. As all for one grabs hologram, which then grabs back all for one. And turbo gives you the energy for all for one.
  • @machixius
beating an intangible enemy with finisher is wild
  • The problem of all the the silent is if you go infinite run with "Endless" mod activated. After few rotations u'll get the debuff that restrict you to play with no more than 15 cards each turn. So the key to really go infinite with the silent is wrath form.

I’m new to this game, how often can these build be made during runs? I did 5 runs with the first character so far and always end up missing one of the cards. Also how does he cut his card number this low? Even if I go through all merchant it won’t reach that low.
  • @mhkpt
When you have Tough Bandages and a discard/redraw-happy deck with The Silent
  • @ggRengar
The nipple of Flex having goggly eyes caught me off guard.
