The Minecraft tropical fish. The Minecraft axolotl. The Minecraft pufferfish. Are these enough? Many Minecraft mods add new Minecraft mobs, but I may have taken it to its limit. This new Minecraft mod adds tons of exotic fish, rare fish, and more.

This is a worse Minecraft video with cursed Minecraft features and new Minecraft content. Made in Minecraft 1.19, just before Minecraft 1.20. With the new Minecraft blocks and Minecraft animals you can build aquariums and fish tanks like never before. Fish can now be bred which allows for cool Minecraft fish farm designs. The mod adds fish fry, roe, nautilus, anglerfish, sunfish, catfish, clams, sea slugs, seahorses, bubble eye goldfish, crabs, mahi mahi, oysters, starfish, anemones, sea urchins,

You just need one thing to make this mod perfect: when you play music on a jukebox and there is crabs around, they rave

as a huge biology nerd, this mod scratches an itch i didn't know i had. wonderful realism and attention to detail, while still feeling like it belongs in minecraft!

If you're still adding to this mod, You should add: - Jellyfish - Shrimp - lobsters - Sharks - whale - blue whale - sea otter - yeti crab - Giant squid (don't have to) - leafy seadragon - snails - Electric eel ------------------------------------------------------------- Deep sea ocean (65+ blocks down in the sea) - Zombie worms (real thing) - Lantern fish (my favorite) - Viper Fish - Hag fish - vampire squid

i'm unhealthily obsessed with sea creatures so this mod makes me way, way too happy. i kept giggling and bouncing up and down in joy at all the fish i recognized. thank you for this.

I'm freaking out, as a marine biology student I just kept smiling the more you added. Nudibranchs (sea slugs) are my favorites, I was like "he's not gonna add them," and then YOU DID!! Brilliant work, I love the detail

The only thing this mod lacks is crabs dancing near a working jukebox and a Crab Rave disc. Other than that, this is pure perfection!

I like everything in this mod ... except for the starfish. Them breeding instantly when eating adjacent clams and muscles runs the risk of just filling the ocean floor with them over time. Especially since nothing eats them in the mod currently. Other than that, you absolutely nailed the dynamic systems in Minecraft.

As a marine biology student, I absolutely adore this!!!!! I was always disappointed that we get nautilus shells but not the actual animal. Super well done, I also love the less well-known features like the sargassum and the nudibranchs!!! My favorite is probably the pelican though, super creative and cute :)

This is one of those rare mods that perfectly fits and 100% should be added in minecraft.

So glad Eight added fish from minecraft into real life! 🐟🐟🐟🐟

"it's not so shrimple" is the best extension to the shrimp fried rice joke I've ever heard
  • @detto1998
If you would like to improve it just a few idea: - Cattail - Make fishing more engaging, more loot - Trophies/fish size - Jellyfish - Use for algae
  • @Lotus77777
This unironically is such a good mod. I wish this game had these breeding mechanics for fish. My marine bio teachers would love this πŸ˜‚

as a marine biologist this is my absolute FAVORITE mod! I love the delightfully accurate details about the sealife. It really makes minecraft feel like a working biosphere! πŸ¦‘

This mod is literally amazing and has had me in tears for at least 43 minutes. As a marine biology nerd the amount of attention to detail in this mod is absolutely *astounding*, and the uses you've come up with for each mob are so true to life for each creature and it's beautiful. I feel the only thing I would add to make this better would be our lord and savior the ocean sunfish, and I've seen a couple people suggest adding it to the mod, however if you do, there's two things you should consider. For one, the ocean sunfish, despite being very useful to pelagic ecosystems, has a reputation for seeming useless at first glance. I figure it would be in character for the ocean sunfish to be one of the most useless mobs in this mod as a result, coming up to the surface of the water to sun themselves and seeming very lazy overall. The second thing I'd like to point out is that there is a famous video on the internet of a Boston fisherman spotting a sunfish in the wild and calling it a myriad of things, such as a "baby whale". Given that you're prone to implementing silly ideas, do with that as you will. If you don't plan on adding the ocean sunfish because the freshwater sunfish is already in the game, that's completely valid! I'd be curious to see what you do with this mod in the future if you ever decide to revisit it, which I greatly hope you do, because this is the only way I'm going to be able to play Minecraft from now on :7
