Same here, PTP - Kmart was the main shopping destination for our family growing up, and we had to drive 45 minutes to get there.

Yea ours closed two years ago and much like Hills I miss it. The world keeps.changing and becoming so connected that nobody's together. Oh the greatness of the future. Hopefully it cycles around.

Looks like the K Mart in our area when it closed down a few years ago. Memories are all that remain. Sounds like lots were made in that shopping center for you.

Sad times indeed. I was never a fan of K-mart (always seemed to smell like cheap clothes LOL). I used to only go to find fishing tackle. Blue light specials no more 😢

California still has 4 non closing Kmarts and 7 non closing Sears locations
