  • Some follow-up notes: - A section on MVM and a section on self-expression in cosmetics were both scrapped as they broke the flow of the video. I would have liked to touch upon these, but I couldn't find a place for them. Sorry to disappoint. - I considered a section discussing the TF2 economy, but I figured it would be really dry. Hunting for unusuals, trading, etc. Most veteran players have done it before and it bores me to talk about it. - I may have said that I have been playing since the Orange Box, but that doesn't mean I've been playing regularly. I played a bit in 2007, then again in 2009, then again when it went free to play, and then I took a long break from it until Jungle Inferno. So I am by no means familiar with EVERYTHING this game went through! - I dislike higher viewmodel FOVs on most guns (with the exceptions of the Direct-Hit and Demo's grenade launchers). I know that's going to make a few people upset but idc lol it's how I like to play. This is more of a personal thing, but I know I'll be getting countless comments about it anyway! Thanks for watching, and I hope you enjoyed!
  • "Let's analyze Engineer" >starts the round dead. Sums up Engineer pretty well.
  • I was an original TFC player, and a beta tester for team fortress 2. Can sum up my experience in three words. Worth the wait.
  • TF2 is literally just too good to die. Valve put a child in the middle of a city and it survived.
  • a scout using the teleporter is the equivalent of parking in a handicap space when you don't need it
  • I didn't know the original TF team was Australian. Suddenly everything makes sense
  • “This is a bucket” “Dear God” “There’s more” “No...”
  • 7:59 Liam: "In an effort to define how scout can contribute in a team fight" Still Liam: *brutally steals a medkit from a burning teammate*
  • @LostElsen
22:37 talking about Volcano Fragment as a legitimate weapon with straight face takes a lot of personality
  • One time, I was playing medic with the stock medi-gun when this scout comes out of nowhere, just quenched his thirst with the Crit-A-Cola, and I had to pop my uber. I started using it on this spy that was the only one there, the entire enemy team was 1 door away, and he gets the craziest chainstab I have ever seen. Best. Uber. Ever.
  • 33:46 Can we all just take a sec to appreciate how his team’s Sniper just eliminated that Spy who could’ve easily backstabbed the Heavy, headshotting the Spy just as he jumps down into the pit with him??? What a team player!!!
  • @Imirui
"A skilled pyro is what any team needs!" Me with no skill, still playing pyro:
  • There's definitely some "How it feels to play" inspiration here. I love it.
  • I love how he played the robot theme while introducing the sniper
  • I really hope someone from valve sees this and other community efforts and realizes how important it is to us. please keep developing it valve. or just give it to the community
  • I showed "expiration date" to my best friend and then found out she bingewatched all the "Meet the classes" videos. And she doesn't even play games...

The part about Valve having abandoned this game, with videos spanning one, two, three years back all mentioning the same thing, feels so painful now. Valve really did let the game and its community go. Nowadays, only the occasional developer over at Valve will willingly go and bug fix TF2 on their downtime. That's all we're able to get. Once a while during holidays they pick up a few community cosmetics to ship out as well. That's it. The game, as far as updates go, is dead in the water. But in terms of community size, and active player base, it's bigger than it's ever been! Insane to think about.
