Should've made it a 3 part video and never release the final video.

Making this video over 10 minutes for revenue? Disgusting

Half-life fans: we’ve been waiting for half life 3 for over 20 years Tf2 fans: there are aimbot bots in every official server and we haven’t gotten a major update since 2019 Portal fans: we died but it’s not too bad
  • You know he’s new to tf2 when he says the backburner is better than stock and uses the persian persuader with normal demoman
  • @PassTheSnails
Valve can avoid making a “3” by just making all their sequels at once and putting them in “The Orange Box 2”

“So we have this game he-“ “You wanna make it in the source engine?”

Some of the houses you could enter on Highway 17 had great atmosphere. Something about the way the houses were out in the middle of nowhere, slightly dilapidated, and probably only had a couple people living in them really made you feel what the citizens of this new world felt. One of the houses (the one with the burning corpses outside) gave me really ominous vibes. The way there is barely anything in the house in the way of food, the fact that there is nothing in the way of entertainment for those living there. It really felt bleak and hopeless, and set the tone for the game spectacularly.

"More barren than a nun's porn collection." These are the metaphors that matter folks.

I come from the future. I think Valve might have finally learnt how to count to 3

One note about freeman’s backstory, You could be a wonderfully decorated engineer and still be reduced to wearing a suit and pushing carts. The ivory tower of academia will reduced those without proper experience in the field to grunts, especially if the project is as ground breaking as what Gordon was working on. Ask your scientist friend. They’ll tell you all about it.

Something I noticed in Half-Life 2 is that some citizens have cuts in their clothing and scars on the backs of their heads due to Manhacks being used to keep them in line. The attention to detail is... honestly still impressive after all these years.

Seeing how cool the Orange Box was together makes me wish that Steam didn't become their man focus, even though it makes complete sense from a business standpoint. Valve made some great games. Awesome video
  • imagine if the gaming community, Valve and the FBI tried to arrest a hacker today, it would be memed to shit

"that's not what tf2 is" kazotsky kick plays in back round

I hadn't even heard of the Orange Box when I saw it in Best Buy on black Friday. I looked at it and thought, "Well, I don't know what Portal is. Hey, isn't Team Fortress a Quake mod? Whatever; it says it's five games and they're practically giving it away." I bought it and Bioshock that day for peanuts. No regrets.

"Were it to have transitions like No Man's Sky..." Well, Shammy pretty much asked for it

Came here from NakeyJakey, was seriously surprised by your willingness to point out legitimate criticisms of the games and give an honest opinion rather than just an hour long nostalgia-driven compliment fest. Great video- watched it through and through, and in a year or two, I'll be back to watch it again. Got yourself a subscriber, that's for sure.
