Dodick, MD, FAAN about the benefits of deep brain stimulation for people with brain disease and what specific conditions it can help treat. They discussed how cutting-edge brain disease research is leading to big steps forward in treatment and prevention for diseases like Alzheimer’s,Parkinson’s, dystonia, and epilepsy. Audience members also had a chance to ask questions related to DBS procedures and its effectiveness for seizures and tremors.
