The Need for Research Into Orthostatic Tremor, A Rare Movement Disorder

Published 2023-06-14
When Ruth was diagnosed with orthostatic tremor (OT), she lost her independence, mobility, and the active lifestyle she loved. An incurable progressive movement disorder that causes rapid muscle tremors in the legs, OT is painful and debilitating—and the symptoms are often invisible. Ruth shares her story to raise awareness for OT, hoping that her voice will rally support for critical research efforts.

I hope you are doing ok? I have had O.T for a long time at least 12 years but it has progressed in the last few years and this year has been the worst, can only stand unaided for seconds now. I feel exhausted after standing like I have climbed a mountain. I live in UK where are you?
