  • I have a Subaru Cross Trek and love my Subaru. I have been looking to enter the electric market, but Subaru is going to have to do far better in MPG single charge milage. Not going to pop for a new electric until they are well over 400 miles to a single charge. This is when an electric car is practical. Keep going Subaru, I will be watching.

I want someone to make a parody of a car commercial where the car drives over progressively more ridiculous terrains. When they showed that stream, I thought they were going to have the car cross it.
  • Nice looking car but I prefer the back window to be square like the Forrester. Too bad no one invented an electric car that can also be charged by solar panels on top of the car.

Promising but range is still at least 100 miles too short for me to make the switch. My Outback with well over 100,000 miles will have to continue to be my car.
  • How friendly is the battery pack with the environment? Is the steering gearbox still made out of soft clay?
  • @lalo3487
A very nice car, with the range of an electric bike 🚲 ⚡

Does it have "Dog Mode" like Tesla has to run the HVAC for my dog in the car when parked?
  • @bryantcafe
Wow!!!! I have a 2000 Subaru Outback with 190K miles and I am poised to get an EV. Maybe this is the one!!!
  • @ArchYeomans
Good looks. I hope they make a Wilderness edition with more torque and a little more ground clearance. Torque is everything.
  • When will bidirectional charging capability be incorporated? I want to be able to use the vehicle battery for storage from our solar pv system so that we can remain independent from the grid and save even more money. I love my Forester, but if Subaru doesn't get on with this in the next year or two, I will have to buy another brand.
  • The rear hatch is a deal killer. Why bother with a sport UTILITY vehicle and then chop off a third of the cargo area for styling? You guys did the same thing with the Impreza hatchback / Crosstrek when you made it shorter than the sedan robbing it of cargo space.

Question. Does it come without a glass roof?

I didnt see any charging stations in that forest.
