Who came back from an almost two years injury, just to win the world cup, score 8 goals and win player of the year in 2002?... BEST STRIKER EVER
  • I've seen a lot of great strikers in my life...Ronaldo Nazario is definitely the greatest to do it.
  • @blo6k
He was a global superstar in 1998-2004. Miss those times
  • Pace, strength, dribbling, ball control, ariel ability and technique, the most complete striker ever!
  • @russell3436
This is the Ronaldo I grew up with, so this to me is the real Ronaldo.

Everyone has their heroes- this guy was mine. The way he played ball in the 90’s, 00’s- he was the best. The GOAT 😮

Let's all appreciate how important Rivaldo was in 2002 tremendous assists
  • THE POSITION "STRIKER" IN FOOTBALL WAS REJUVENATED AFTER THE APPEARENCE OF RONALDO NAZIRIO.

Before Klose broke his record we just have to think about it for a second: he got those 15 goals in 3 world cups while on the last one in 2006 he was already on a poor form. I think he is the only player who actually scored 8 goals on a World Cup after a heavy 2 years rehabilitation from an injury. For comparison Klose needed 4 tournaments while Messi and Cristiano are not even close to both of them. I mean, I don't know another football player to be called "The phenomenon".
  • My favourite football player of all time. If he didn’t have those early injuries he would have been the best of all time no doubt.

I remember he said he would score 3 goals against Argentina in a world cup qualifier and did it. Respect.

The greatest ever.. If you want to see the skills of Ronaldinho and Messi with the speed of Cristiano Ronaldo you have R9. I so wish I had seen him play live, TV just doesn't do justice . He made goal scoring look so easy that he would make you think that the easiest profession in the world is being a striker.😂. He somehow was always there.

Left foot, right foot, header, long shot, short strike, dribbling in front of the Keeper, front goal against Turkey, goal in the air against Turkey....this guy just scored the way it came to him naturally

From what I’ve seen in 40 years, he’s the best player I’ve ever seen in his prime. Better then anyone, not even close
