For those saying he’s faking his voice, he’s NOT. He was voice trained for like 2+ years and he studied Elvis as well. He can’t just drop the accent immediately after filming lol. It’s gonna take some time for his real voice to come back

Saw Elvis this afternoon... im thinking Austin should get an Oscar for it.... he was THAT good!
  • @susanrike7476
Austin WAS Elvis for that time on film. He was brilliant. Had the moves, the energy, the vulnerability, the spirit, and more. He also did many of the vocals. He deserves the Oscar!
  • He brought Elvis to a new generation he deserves a Oscar Award!

I remember watching Bohemian Rhapsody and thinking how perfect Rami was for playing Freddie. He was absolutely spot on with everything.. But this guy. Jesus Christ he was like Elvis reincarnated. He had every single thing perfected! The look, the voice, the facial expressions, the moves especially! It's insane. I hope he gets a lot of awards for this, he absolutely deserves it.
  • You can tell Jimmy isn’t faking this interview - sometimes he’s so extra with people but he’s just mesmerised with Austin
  • Out of every Elvis impersonator, Elvis movies, past, present. This is the only man that made me believe he is Elvis. He talk, walk, sing, and shake his ass just like Elvis. The performances are dead on. I don’t think there should be anyone else to star as Elvis from this point on but Austin. He was MORE than a treat to watch.❤ 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

When he put his hand on his face and you can see he's SHAKING. He's absolutely adorable and amazing actor. He's nervous but still does his best and pushes himself. Love this

A lot of people say that he's "faking his voice" or "trying to sound like Elvis" but what y'all have to understand is that he put his everything into this role for about 3 almost 4 years and literally studied Elvis from top to bottom. For example, it's like when you're around a person so much that you start to pick up on their mannerisms, the way they speak, their slang, etc. It's hard to just drop the "accent" when the cameras cut off because he spoke/acted like this for years and it started to become his lifestyle.

He was robbed of an Oscar. Guy did a helluva job acting, singing and recreating performances. How did he not get it?

I haven't seen the movie but I got goosebumps watching that clip in the end. I'm 73 now. I was born in 1950 and Elvis was my idol throughout my young life, right through to now. Great job, Austin!

it’s crazy how Austin’s voice slowly changed while filming and now he sounds so similar to Elvis. it’s also insane how he sang AND played guitar AND danced just like Elvis. for all the people saying he looked nothing like Elvis- it doesn’t matter at all that he looks slightly different because he absolutely crushed all Elvis’ mannerisms. this man deserves an Oscar, i fell in love with that movie and HIM
  • @mariah2161
he's such a good sport. he's clearly extremely shy, but still did the voices and the dances when asked to. hope his career skyrockets.
  • Jimmy is so Awe Struck. hes not even fake laughing. that's amazing.
  • @hajraabbasi81
Amazing actor. No one can do Elvis better than him. His looks, voice, acting, dance moves everything was amazing for this character 👌
  • @lydacaceres4155
He’s so humble about how incredible he was in this film. Just adds to his charisma. You can tell he approached the part with such care, and respect. I wish him nothing but continued success.
  • @candysweet434
I did not expect him to sound like this, he has a pretty cool, raspy voice.
  • For those of us who love and miss Elvis so much even now after 45 and a half years, Austin Butler is a precious gift.
  • i love how he talks about his mom every time the opportunity comes. she must have been so special to him. he went through a hard time when she passed, even took a break on acting. he talks about her with so much love and in a childish way that definitely makes him come back to the memories he had with her. he's so humble, so polite and so down to earth. he's adorable, i love him.
