  • weight fluctuation is NATURAL and NORMAL. Selena has always been so beautiful. I can't believe people have actually been body shaming her lately. She's stunning.
  • She's not even fat! She's a healthy weight. She looks fine. She has Lupus. Her body is constantly fighting against itself. She looks great honestly. I know that she has a lot of struggles physically but she's doing a good job and she looks great.

Ive never wanted someone to succeed more than Selena. So graceful and humble for real
  • She is a living proof how wonderful life is, how happy to be still alive in this world even how hard her condition is. She's very strong despite how burden the world can give her, She's one of a kind. Spreading the positivity to the world even she's already suffering from her condition. She stand up to speak herself for body shaming because of her condition, She bravely want others to reflect herself today. Thank you for inspiring us Miss Selena Gomez 🥰 Stay kind hearted and Brave🙏
  • Lizzo was so right. Society has normalized cruelty. People think they can say and do whatever they want. At someone else's expense. The shaming and disrespect hurts. Kindness is better than inflicting pain on someone.
  • She got popular as a teen and I think people have zero understanding of how people's bodies accept and process food as you grow up into an adult. I grew up with Selena and see how my body has changed and I think I just realize people don't accept any sort of deviation from your teenage body. It's sadness and I hope we can move forward to accepting changing bodies

I don't think many realize just how important her influence is. Because she is so beautiful, smart, kind, etc. she shows that bad things can happen to literally anyone, no matter what you do. She also shines a light on lupus, a mysterious illness that is often misdiagnosed as CFS. I suffered from weight gain due to anti depressants and I went through many chronic illnesses like adrenal fatigue, Tietze, leaky gut and iron deficiency. My dad has lupus and my brother only has one kidney so she gave me the idea to get tested for lupus myself! Thank you Selena.

The amount of criticism this poor girl has been bombarded with for years is heartbreaking. She is an ANGEL, it’s so undeserved! When will people wake up to the fact that celebrities are humans with feelings?
  • I met Selena in the early 2000's on the set of Wizards of Waverly Place and I told her she was my favorite, to which she replied "Oh, I don't deserve that". I've looked up to her grace and humility ever since, and she keeps surprising me with her strength in being so real and vulnerable. She is an example of maturity and kindness that we need in this society, I love her!

I have lupus and it's a struggle to even be able to walk and function some days. Selena is a 30 year old woman not a 13 year old girl. Grown women have curves (especially us women of color). I'm so proud of her for not giving into malicious ignorant fools and trying to starve herself to fit unrealistic beauty standards. Kudos Selena 💜

She is amazing. Many of us struggle with feeling accepted and the mental health challenges that accompany that. I love and respect her so much for showcasing this happens to people like her that we all tend to believe don’t go through these struggles, but here she is to show they do too. It’s beautiful and creates a sense of solidarity amongst her fans, followers, or anyone that hears her story. ❤
  • True beauty comes from deep inside, and Selena has more then enough. For the body side, she's gone from being the cute girl who grew up in the public eye, to a stunning woman who holds herself with grace and poise. From the red blooded male perspective, dang, she fine with curves, one powerful figure of a woman.
  • Love Selena, autoimmune disease is no walk in the park. The meds can be very bizarre in changing your body. No shame. She steps forward and is helping so many of us through her positivity and care for others. Amazing human being.
  • I am so proud of Selena. She's been our lives for years, from Barney, to Wizards, to her music, acting, to activism... It's been great to see her evolving. ❤
  • It's nice to see a young star like her be raw and honest about her struggles and make body acceptance a great thing. Everyone's weight changes. Go Salena.
  • She's done amazing things given her transplant/rejection meds/lupus. Just phenomenal. It's honestly none of our business about her meds/weight changes. Grateful she's alive. Grateful she's a great role model.
  • Bullying is always a reflection of the bullies. Jealousy self hate etc. Selena is love and light and wants to save people from hurt and be a strong advocate for others.. love her❤

I don't understand people who criticize someone else's weight as if it had anything to do with themselves. People already know they're overweight, there's no need to tell them about it!

Even though she’s a super mega pop star/actress I’ve always seen her as a normal girl( of course she’s a normal human just like you and me) but she’s the most normal celebrity I’ve ever seen. Love her authenticity and kind heart ❤️
  • She’s so beautiful. It’s a shame women are judged more harshly on looks than men. Let’s be honest, men don’t get as much grief about this subject. I hope Selena finds peace and know she’s more than enough ❤
