  • NO MA'AM MS. GOMEZ YOIU DO NOT NEED TO EXPLAIN ANYTHING ABOUT YOUR BODY! YOUR TRUE FANS ARE HERE FOR YOU. YOUR mental health and physical health is much importnant! WE love you
  • I am 190 I always been 145 my whole life at one point lower than that I've gained over 50 lbs in the last 4 years and now that I am engaged I am wanting more to be healthy again. youtube.com/post/Ugkx5VQ5nUzHu6i0O5_u7ipyLnCz0lbsS… I am not fat but I am thick and have muscle. I am very close to how you were but a lil smaller but I am so sick people making comments to me like I'm huge or like you said having shorts that used to be so cute on me and now I can't even find a pair to fit me. I used to love shopping now I don't even want to go to the store and if I do I pick the biggest size don't even try it on and deal with it. I went from size 5 to size idk because I don't even want to know the real number. I hate looking at pics of myself now or me before. thank you for your video it's time to make a change.

I’m 34 and I honestly look up to her. So graceful, kind, humble, strong. What a great role model.

I really like this mature version of Selena. Lupus is a chronic, unpredictable, and often debilitating illness. Anyone who suffers from chronic pain knows how it doesn't just affect your body, it really messes with your mind, too. She handles this with such grace and is willing to share what it looks like for her. Her honesty will no doubt help others who are also experiencing this and similar ailments.

People who can't love you at your worst don't deserve to have you at your best

As someone who also struggles with Lupus and weight gain, I applaud Selena. Thank you for speaking out that body shaming someone without knowing the circumstances is not ok. It’s a daily struggle to deal with this disease, the last thing we need is to be bullied about our weight. The much needed medicine I take all have the side effect of weight gain.😢 Just be kind to people cause you never know what someone is dealing with.😊💜

This girl is so amazing! It takes so much courage to be so honest, vulnerable and open especially given the industry that she's been working since a little kid. We need more people to step up and show their true inner battles instead of having people that are shiny and "perfect" all the time (and miserable inside). Thank you Selena for your strength and courage, it is so helping me and so many people around the world!
  • As a victim of Rheumatoid Arthritis I know our meds really mess up our bodies, but we need the medication..it hurts so bad. I've had this since I was 18, I'm 48 now, I wish I could give everyone suffering from this or Lupus or any disease a big hug because it is so hard. God bless
  • There's nothing wrong with her weight. She's beautiful the way she is. My heart absolutely breaks for her diagnosis. She should continue to look after herself and not care what anyone has to say. Who cares what the haters say? You’re Selena Gomez! Girl, you are badass!!
  • @Star-333
She doesn’t owe anyone any kind of explanation but the fact that she addresses the negative comments and talks about the medication etc. is also setting a good example for others who may not take their prescribed medication due to the side effects. Medication compliance is a huge issue. She keeps it real and is a great role model. She’s beautiful inside and out❤

People should never be judged or shamed for their weight! No form of body shaming is acceptable. Wishing Selena great health 💛💫
  • @ShakeMyWay
Good for her. There's so many people on these meds and they feel so bad for what it does to their bodies. She's a great example to shine on and be you!
  • I cannot believe that people who know her condition and that she had an organ transplant can‘t understand that there will be side effects to medication. She is incredibly beautiful inside and out.❤
  • Autoimmune diseases are horrible . I have multiple sclerosis myself and was on meds that caused me to put on weight too and hair loss also occurred . It’s ok because most of us really embrace it and we are fighters . Wishing everyone the best and Selena keep on being you . ❤
  • @budgles
She’s beautiful regardless of her weight. She sounds exhausted. The roundness of her face makes her look even younger.

Mad respect for you (SG) Having an autoimmune disease is no joke. There are such low lows, but there are highs too. Chronic pain sucks, and fighting for our lives is what we do every day. My Sister has Lupus, and I have AS. She and I have fought most of our adult lives to push forward with our diseases. The medications, many cause weight gain, the diseases affect all our organs and bones and joints. It’s hard. I chose to love my body as a plus size woman, because my body fights hard every day! So does yours girl! (S.G.) keep on Keeping on! You are beautiful! All of you! You are perfect, just as you are, with all the fluctuations that all humans deal with at some point in their lives. Those pointing fingers and judging…one day, they will have to deal with something hard. I just hope they have someone to be supportive of them when they do. Perfect people do not exist, if anyone thinks they are “all that”…well…. “You get what you give the world back at some point” I hope they can handle it.
  • I admire her confidence. I am currently in a similar position. I have found it difficult to accept my weight gain due to medications.
  • People are just jealous they can never be that beautiful inside or out. She's young and out of this world gorgeous.

Nobody should ever have to explain their body whether they’re skinny or big everybody’s body changes everybody’s gonna gain weight everybody’s not gonna look the same as they were in their 20s. If people have a problem with it then they have a problem with themselves. Selena Gomez will always be beautiful we all love Selena Gomez. She’s amazing. She doesn’t need to owe anybody an exclamation for her weight gain she’s beautiful inside it out.
