The fact that her friend called Jackie “lucky” because she lives with the Walter boys, but Jackie literally lost all her family-
  • @shelbybell1124
The most unrealistic thing here is that Jackie remembered ANYONE’S name that quickly.
  • @therealmykag
“Jackie, you’re like the luckiest girl in the whole school!” Yeah her family’s dead but she lives with cute boys, so it totally cancels out!
  • @Astranovafilm
How is Jackie not severely depressed. Her entire family DIED. She is living in another state with strangers. Her entire life has completely changed and she doesn’t have mental problems.
  • @vennox_3
The problem isn't stupid teenagers. It's writing the most dull, one dimensional young characters ever with typical issues. It's brushing off cheating as a plot device like it's nothing

Team Cole ❌ Team Alex ❌ Team PLEASE get this girl therapy and this entire household in family counselling ✅
  • @celty9389
They could've made the "girl with many protective and supportive brothers, trying to date" trope. These weird love corners are just terrible.
  • @scftuan6946
I’m so tired of the stories where the girl gets into a love triangle with BROTHERS and then acts like the victim after she ruins the family relationship
  • @bethhendricks609
Okay but how did Cole climb out of the pool like that in front of his siblings and not get completely ripped apart?
  • How the heck was there no concern about dropping an emotionally vulnerable teenage girl into a house with several teenage boys, with raging hormones, whom she didnt grow up with??? And also, essentially, her foster brothers???? 🤮🤮
  • @Alohria
Im so sad you didn't mention the scene where after Cole dropped the box on Jackies floor, he and Will go out to bring more boxes in and Will tells Cole to be nicer to her, and Cole says something like "shes got to learn to deal with rough and tumble, things are different here" AFTER HER FAMILY JUST DIED?!?! i had to pause the show because I was so astounded
  • "Attractive enough to be allowed to be obnoxious." It's amazing how many characters this line applies to and by that I mean most bad boy characters in fiction.
  • @midnight7877
I don’t understand how Jackie isn’t sobbing about the fact that her family is dead 💀 like I’d be shaking crying and throwing up
  • @KyleHamel
Am I the only one who thinks Danny was the only Walter who was never completely insufferable?
  • @rot3053
I wish the nice, smart, friendly guy would win for a change. I'm tired of seeing them passed over in these shows for the guy who's mean and can only get away with that because a hot 25 year old plays him. It sends such a bad message to all teens about love
  • @user-im8ix3xs3w
the trope of “everyone leaves one brother for the “hotter” emotionally immature, irresponsible, brody, bad boy brother” is not only getting old, but really sad? like this is what we shoot towards? really😭?
  • The ending of the season was so stupid. Jackie only moved back to New York because she didn’t want to deal with the consequences of her cheating on Alex 🤦‍♀️ she made Alex and Cole’s relationship go back to square one in 10 seconds

Can we talk about how Will is deaf and he said if I'm turned around I won't respond to you and then hears perfectly in all the scenes except for about two, to remind people that he is deaf.
  • @LucyLighthearted
You can tell this was written by a teenager who hasn't lost their parents bc an adult would have known that Jackie would have felt so much grief and guilt FOR YEARS the last thing on her mind would have been boys. She would be depressed, she would probably barely talk or eat in the beginning. She would be tired and try to sleep, but she baerly can, and when she wakes up she would have a moment if clarity before remembering everything and it all coming crashing back down. There would be days where she is better, just to have a couple of really bad days again bc grief isn't just uphill. She is only 15, she would need extensive therapy for just being a teenager again.
