  • I visited Tibet in 2016 and was overwhelmed after climbing to the top of the Potala Palace. Tibet is beautiful!

One day I will visit Tibet, that is my dream (from Sri Lanka) 🇱🇰

Tashi's respect towards the master artist is very touching. I think he is a very talented and sweet young man. If only more youngsters in the western world would have this kind of respect for elderly people: so many spend their last years alone and uncared for.

When you want to get to know a place, and the people there, just go there and take a look with your own eyes. Wonderful documentary. I think that's why many Chinese artists and students see visiting Tibet as a must-do in their lifetimes.

I spent over 25 summers in Tibet. Best place on Earth. It's nice to see real Tibetans, and their ancient culture still thriving. It's a full on renaissance.

Tibet like Bhutan is indeed a special place to visit, to see to embrace......

Absolutely fascinating documentary, from which I have learned quite a lot of new things about Tibet. Tibetans are very strong, skilful and interesting people! Watching this makes me treasure the Yak hair blanket I bought online even more. As an aside the elderly lady shown at 31:56 is beautiful!

I have so much admiration for everyone in this episode, from the female professor, the designer, the tangka painter, the master and the construction engineers and workers. Their dedication is unparallel, their patriotism is so inspiring. I wish them all the happiness and success in life.
  • Another inspirational documentary from Get Factual. Thank you so much!
  • I’d enjoyed every bit of this documentary. Now I want to visit Tibet.

A wonderfully informative insight into the actual rooftop of the world. I was specifically intrigued by the research into cosmic rays and how the Chinese are striving - quite candidly - to gain an edge over other nations/powers, by trying to tap into their energy potential. Meanwhile, I thought a little more could have been added about the region's ecological fragility and major fresh water source of the world.
