A video I put together containing Tim Minchin's stand up clips about religion.

I hope Tim doesn't mind me making and sharing this.

If you're still reading, you could do something really positive that would hopefully inspire the pupils at my school. It would be excellent if you could download and rate/review my completely free new game app called 'One Lap Reloaded', which I made to show my pupils it was possible. Here are the links:

His 9 minute beat poetry was nothing less than spectacular.

Tim is a genius! He does all this without notes or cue cards... with perfect precision. And his piano and lyrics aren't simple diddy's, they are complex and intricate. He's a pretty damned accomplished musician in his own right, yet his comedy and lyrics are astoundingly complex as well. Comedy dies under a microscope, so I will just say this. This guy is spot on, funny as hell, and brilliant!
  • The song about Christmas always makes me cry. I love how it captures whats important about holidays in the first place.

Aside from his towering comedic talent and amazing stage presence, he is a bloody awesome musician. Thanks Tim.

As one of the very small percentage of Americans who are right, I am so sorry for the utter embarrassment this country has become.
  • @Unhacker
"Isn't this enough?" - nailed it. I too am continually dismayed by the mystic's rejection of an awe-inspiring reality in favor of thin, flimsy fantasies.

Tim is a genius, how he memorised that poem is beyond my realm of understanding
  • My older son has lived the other side of Australia for several years. When I get on the wine, missing him, I send a clip of White Wine in the Sun. I just love it, it IS. Family. The progressive loss of elder members, the love of our children from the perspective of being both parent and child, just love this song. Tim was the Alumni Speaker at my younger sons Uni graduation (University of Western Australia) in 2019, humble, so thoughtful, insightful, humorous.
  • Hadn't seen this. What a beautiful peace of work. We all need more more Tim Michin in our lives, what a man.
  • ex Muslim atheist and I love this. Tim has a great voice accompanied by the piano. No need to even talk about his writings. A real genius. That Christmas song was emotionally awesome. Made me drop a few manly tears if ya know what I mean.

I cannot believe that there’s a combination of Bo Burnham and Ricky Gervais out there. Glad I discovered this guy. Absolutely glorious

28:00 I am not crying, you are crying. Furthermore i didnt even know who he was, youtube recommended this to me. Freaking best 45 minutes in months.

Tim Minchin's verbosity and command of language is amazing. Even as this is rehearsed the thought put into the snippet of performance we hear here dwarfs most of what I ever said or wrote. I am not ashamed to say I envy the guy's talent.

"I know the good book is good because the good book tells me so." FLAWLESS
  • @MiltonJenkins
Instead of spending his time hating, this dude learned music, comedy, writing, and developing his brain. It can be done.

Don’t you just love this guy? He says everything I think, but in a hilarious, and wonderfully erudite way.
  • @puirYorick
I had seen this guy the odd time but never knew what his act was until now. He's quite brilliant.

Taking away the genius original comedy the ability of his piano playing is beyond crazy. He is playing pieces that would challenge any professional pianist whilst singing, quoting delivering punch lines. Amazing talent
