This is probably their best album since Because of the Times. It sounds the most authentic theyāve been in a long time.

Album just gets better and better each listen. They cover every great aspect about them; the 'grungy' stuff, the groovy, the epic stadium jams, etc. They're so versatile. Can't wait to see them (again) in Cincy this year. I'd wager they're THE best band of the last 20 years in terms of how they play, their creativity/ability to reinvent, their authenticity/uniqueness, all of it. They also have an ability to have fairly funny lyrics as well, which always gets me to smile/laugh. Thanks for this.

Pink Banana! Really enjoyed your review - I'm a lifelong Kings of Leon fan and loved watching your faces all the way through listening to their phenomenal sounds! Caleb is a genius - Jared is a self-taught bass player who IS the best in the World š, Nathan's drumming is perfection and Matthew on lead guitar is sublime! Yet, they stay humble and honest and real - they're not arsed about the fame/celebrity - they just want to inspire people. Most hard-working band ever and still so understated after 20 years on the road! All their 9 albums are works of art. Never want them to stop releasing new music - they're too good to ever give up ā¤

I am a life long fan Iāve seen them 3 times live and when I started to learn guitar I listened to them this album is incredible especially in my mid 20s it really spoke to me! Iām about to record my first record and this inspired me so much and got me so excited to record and try new ideas and be creative!!

After listening to your review, I can really appreciate this album! I seen so many negative reviews on this, but all of them have something in common, they expect an album with all songs sounding like Nothing To Do. They expect an album like the first two and they always get let down. They canāt never see past those two first albums, they canāt never see how they have evolved throughout the years. The way they experiment, the way all of their albums sound different and all of their songs too. All those people with negative reviews never talk about the production of the album and how they incorporate all these different sounds into one. Kings of Leon never stick to one sound or genre that defines them, and thatās the cool part! Thank you for this review!

Enjoying your content a lot boys! Our little exchange on the mustang reaction was great. Love talking music! Obviously havenāt listened to whole reaction yet but just got the nipper to bed and Iāll be enjoying this with a beverage. KOL are a proper albums band, no filler and the textures and layers throughout this album are gorgeous. Gets better with every listen - best enjoyed with some headphones to really pick up on all the elements. Amazing album!
