Hello and thank you for your patience. I know this one came pretty late and I was actually toying with the idea of moving on to other topics but I think it'd be just odd making a part 1 without the part 2. So here it is.

What are your thoughts on werewolves?

My opinion?

Sims 2 is veeery weak in this part specially, minimal abilities but they remained unique so they have that going on. I don't see any situation where you need wolves around, tho beating the burglar was pretty useful and the fact that these are the only hybrids that can be created without cheats is pretty cool ngl

Sims 3 was okay, I like the hunting ability here way more because it's actually useful to make lots of money, I also like the way they handled toddler werewolves but I think that's about it. I have to remind myself these were part of a bigger pack but they still feel a bit weak in comparison, in this part specially

To me Sims 4 is obviously the winner here, they gave them the vampires treatment with a whole list of abilities, I like the way you have to search for the cure, I like how they take care of their needs differently from other occults, I like details like their graves, I like the inclusion of Greg...I think they did a great job, I just wish toddlers had abilities and that they'd have a unique death but that's about it.

Nut that's just my opinion, let me know yours and I'll see you on the next one, not sure if I'll continue with butlers or start with prom or do a whole other thing, we'll see

  • Sims 1 walking wolf with clothes Sims 2 hairy, crazy-looking, neon eyes human Sims 3 straight up looking like a hobo Sims 4 furry

Toddlers in The Sims 4 are too damn cute, even warewolves can't resist them.

I find 16:01 adorable. It's such innocent behavior and the Werewolf even puts their rage aside to hug the toddler 🥺
  • Is Full Moon, im filled with Fury and ill terrify all the people of the neighborhood... But LOOK AT THAT CUTE TODDLER HOWLING, HUGGY 🧡 Best interaction ever.
  • I didn't know that werewolves in TS3 transformed out of anger either! (I should try playing with them more often.) On that note, it's kind of a pet peeve of mine when people say that Sims 4 introduced emotions. They're less front-and-center, but most of the emotions in TS4 were also in TS3.

Ok you got to admit. It's pretty dam cute seeing a werewolf parent teaching their toddler to howl in the sims four version.
  • 12:49 I love that he’s freaking out and she’s just so unbothered “Hm, donkey head? Neat” XD

Have you ever thought about doing a evolution of simlish? Cause I feel like simlish has changed a lot since sims 1, that’d be an interesting video!!
  • @ThieflyChap
Fine! Loathe as I am, I'll give this one to Sims 4, if only because of the lore and levelling system.
  • Sims 4 really shines when it just gets to make up its own lore huh?🤔
  • @x_izuki_x69
I think this time sims 4 wins this battle mostly because of the fact that it has the most interactions related to werewolves but I like that in sims 2 you can have a hybrids sims :D
  • @Sencilia
Ha ha, I like that last one. "RAAAWRRR! Oh? You wanna hug? Awwww.... RAAAAWR!"
  • @uplevel7480
interesting that most sims 4 packs criticized for lacked of gameplay, but for sims 4 werewolves, people criticize about look instead, despite the gameplay is one of the most fleshed out, more than other occults across 4 main sims game..

The sequel we all didn't know we needed
  • things i've discovered from playing the TS4 werewolves pack: -if you really wanna speedrun a rank increase, get the devour ability, travel to the landgraabs' lot in oasis springs, and just start going to town on their landscaping. there is so much of it. -as far as i know the immortal wolf perk applies to everything, including mod-related deaths -in the same way werewolves get an angry moodlet from smelling vampires, vampires get a similar moodlet from drinking werewolf plasma because they find it gross -werewolf children can eat raw meat but apparently not raw fish like older sims can? which is kinda weird. -werewolf and vampire babies are born with a slight negative relationship with their rival occult parent (found this out from a werewolf-vampire couple having twins of each life state). -if you go pack hunting with a vegetarian sim, they'll return with mushrooms in their inventory instead of raw meat. -the hunted raw meat usually counts toward all general meat/most red meat in cooking, particularly when the "simple living" lot trait is enabled.
  • The ‘March of the Hybrids’ down the hall made me laugh! Canon in D played in my head as an accompaniment. Must have taken awhile to get all of those filmed!
