Yoongi actually mentioned he was handed scripts to do acting after the mv daechwita but he refused saying he's not for acting🤡

it's worth noting that yoongi just used bighit/hybe money to bring his own storyboard to life. He is the brains behind the mv concepts. But I agree on wanting to see him act, although he's already said he won't despite having received a script.

Y’all should watch it in order, it’s yoongi’s real story line daechwita—> Haegeum—> amygdala All this happened to him (The amygdala mv) Yoongi in the past in 2012 had a car accident while working as a delivery (just like the video) and broke his shoulder and made a surgery in 2020 because he was afraid to tell the company when he was a trainee to not kick him out and then didn’t want to do the surgery because of his group to not disrupt the group’s work he was afraid + when he was born his mam did a heart surgery + his dad had a cancer + he faced depression for so long and even thought about kîlling himself and went to a psychologist .. it was hard for him because his family was so poor he had to go to school, work and train at the same time .. he didn’t eat to have money to take the bus It shows that he made the scar himself, it represents what he went through, yoongi said he meant to show the scar healing in haegeum unlike daechwita .. he said that mean he is okay now and he said agust d is one of his personalities who faced these things, you can see suga tried to kill agust d the personality with the scar in both daechwita and haegeum , he is trying to kill and forget his bad memories that made that person to continue his life . and he will stop to do songs under agust d again because the scar is healed now but that doesn’t mean the end he said if he found other things to talk about he will do , but now might release things under suga or yoongi He is so brave and we are proud of him that he didn’t give up

He said this is probably going to be the last album he does under Agust D, that he has said what he needs to as Agust D and the rest can be told by Suga.

Honestly, everybody says that the trilogy is messed up because of the order you watched it in, but not really. Amygdala was the beginning of everything. That is when he gave himself the scar, and August D was born. And then it starts from daechwita, where the scar is still fresh. Then comes haegum. As you can see, the scar is "fading" away. Furthermore, the tyrant King was never killed in daechwita, so he isn't actually continuously killing himself. On IU's pallete, he said that this is the last of August D. So that's why, in haegum, the "tyrant" was finally killed. And with amygdala he completed the circle (although not in chronological order of way things happened).

Suga has come out and said D-Day is more than likely the end of Agust-D. The persona was created because he was frustrated and angry at people who looked down at him and he doesn't really feel like that anymore, which I think is a great reason to get rid of a persona

D-Day album is a must to check out. Listening to it from beginning to end... I just was so amazed. All those lyrics... unbelievable

The scar is a physical manifestation of inner corruption. In this mv it’s the corruption of greedy and power abuses that come with capitalistic systems such as police and large corporations taking money at the cost of ordinary people and how that greed comes on due to our obsession with numbers/clout/money. So yoongi (no scar) killing agustd (scarred) is a case of him having the ability to know that he is a slave to these capitalist systems and forcing himself to do better. However, we then see the chopsticks that were used as a catalyst to criticise the system as a utensil for him to feed himself showing that were in a cycle on having to take part in this damaging system in order to survive even as were aware of its destruction. This wasn’t explained very well but there are better threads on twitter if your curious 🥰

The one with scar is actually the villain, a corrupt cop (augustD) he wanted the money for his self but suga burned it and also the one without is a good cop, suga,(last scene where he literally used the police car as his personal car to go to a ramen shop, he's not handcuffed too lol)

Yoongi really good at making people love everything about Seeing him as a solo artist because he's lyrics are saying so much more than ever because it's something beautiful and relatable

Now that, according to Yoongi, the trilogy of the Agust D with the scar is completed with AMYGDALA, I have a theory. I believe that Agust D started at AMYGDALA, since we found out that that's when the scar was made by him. I think that that broken part of him, in order to move on, had to be left behind. So I think that the Agust D of AMYGDALA died in that dark place. Then in DAECHWITA, the King is killed by the Agust D that became the Police Chief in HAEGEM. Who was then killed by that "new" guy that doesn't have a scar. I believe that the Agust D from the AMYGDALA, kept involving to the king then to the police chief and finally to the guy without the scar. The more scarred version of his got killed everytime by his more healed one. The reason why this trilogy is over is, I think, because his scars of his past are healed and he's now truly happy, away from that dark place... At least I hope... He went through so much. He deserves to be happy with his 6 brothers 💜

The ones with the scars are the bad/evil ones Cinematography is so good, it takes from Old Boy (korean version), Hong Kong Cinema mostly, Shang Chi a bit (flashback fight scene), Joker (burning the money and hanging outside the car), and Scarface (in bath with money).

I've been on this rabbit hole journey with you since the very beginning. BTS was your 1st reactions and introductions to k-pop! Yoongi is Ous bias! What do you mean you didn't know he had an album out? You've been soooo focused on everyone else. You have truly lost sight of why you started this journey in the 1st place. I still remember your reaction to the last and how you paused to go over his very deep lyrics. Now your questioning and not knowing if it's real? I understand your busy, and I'm proud of you for branching out and chasing your dreams, but don't forget the artists that got you here in the 1st place 💜

Haegum is like a movie, can watch that over and over. Well done , down to the acting by our actor Yoongi.
