Evangeline - Animated Short Film (2019)

What I got from this is that, after a tragic event, life is still good if one has a loved one to share it with and may even bring you closer to them.

People talking about how wild animals can be, Yada Yada Yada. No one mentioned the alligator was protecting his friend, the little girl??!!

I like how the baby alligator just looked like an adult, but smaller. Just this emotionless beast who patiently tolerates Evangeline's parenting.

This man didn't pay attention to his daughter because he had lost the love of his life and he was grieving the loss of his wife, we don't know if she died or if she left them...when his daughter bravely saved him, he realised that she was there and that she loved him and needed his love....

The girl mediated between BOTH wild animals and set them ALL free . It was an innocent, brave and selfless act. LOVE THIS 💋💯♥️

This was a gem of a find. Being from Louisiana and very familiar with the story of Evangeline I thought it would be a retelling of the original. It is not, but I enjoyed it all the same. Thanks for posting.

What I saw: ,😍😍😍 Find time to play with your kids, otherwise they will find amusement on something else and one day you have to deal with that.

A wonderful film about parent-child relationships and the fears inherent in parents and children, depicted in this film as crocodiles. Thanks to the author!

Damn.. grief can be a tough nut to crack, especially when your inside. Great short story, really nicely done. Loved the shot of Evangeline lying on the Gator... What I won't be able to unsee for a while is the fully loaded boat 😔

I'm sure Evangeline didn't mean to make her dad lose his leg to her pet gator, who I'm gonna call Gallie. In the end, though, Gallie is still a dangerous wild animal, no matter how much love she showers him with. I'm also sure Levon didn't blame her for keeping Gallie as a pet and making him lose his leg to him.

Bin der 200ste like :) Sehr schöner Kurzfilm. Von Animation, Soundkulisse und Voiceacting hat mir alles gefallen. Ich frage mich nur wie man ein Tier von dieser Größe so lange geheim halten kann. 😁 Ich fands auch sehr süß das der Babyalligator ein normaler Alligator war nur in sehr klein. Mit am eindrucksvollsten war für mich die Szene mit dem Kutter (oder was das richtige Wort da ist), sehr gut in Szene gesetzt, weckte in mir das Interesse mehr erfahren zu wollen, war auch schön düster und gut untermalt von der Musik.
