Completing this catalyst was taking forever with the traditional methods and using it casually so I sought out a better way.
Quick tip I forgot to mention in the video, occasionally the wizard will spawn which can slow things down, as you see in the video at some point. I would suggest focusing on the acolytes and most of the time the nanites will take care of the wizard.

I would like to add, on top of this working perfectly, I wiped out enemies in the previous room also and as a result 6 enemies spawn at once. Sometimes a Knight or Wizard is included but it doesn't seem to be an issue. Thanks for the vid, it is going great!

Great tip, loving it more than my other farming spots. Something to note: 4 adds will spawn every time. It’ll be 4 Acolytes (ideal,) 3 Acolytes and a Wizard (less so, the nanites will likely kill the wizard, but it instantly jukes left, so your shots on the acolytes are unimpeded,) or 3 Acolytes and a Knight. This one was, by far, the most common for me, and the most irritating, because the Knight’s hitbox means you’re focusing him first, while the acolytes scatter, and the close ones get eaten by nanites. Still the best spot for this I’ve found, just felt the need to put these caveats out there to prevent frustration.

Looks like they added a new little random event in this room that drops a chest after a few waves of enemies from the side doors. Still works as shown in the video, you just might have to clear a few add waves before starting
