  • Wow, this people feels like a breath of fresh air after the last week. Thank you beautiful people!
  • @asmazak
Big difference. This is a peaceful demonstration. The other was outright rioting and violence.

Such a relief! People are strong and calm. Kindness wins the day!
  • Look at all these lovely normal people and contrast it with the weirdos on the far right. Night and day.

Not a single burned car in the protests for Palestine and in the anti-racist riots. There must have been 100s of protests for Palestine across UK so far in the last 10 months or so. Countless car and emergency vehicles burned and destroyed by the far-right protestors in the last week. Also, Suella Braverman has been strangely quiet. MIA.

What a beautiful sight - makes you proud to be British. Blaming Muslims and refugees is easier than taking responsibility for the devastation of austerity.
  • Man London never disappoints. The unity is beautiful. The city has many flaws, true, including struggles and class division, high costs etc but the people have a sense of justice and they are willing to take actions for it
  • Fiona Lali's voice needs to be heard on every possible occasion.

My sister and brother-law lived in Walthamstow some years back. Her neighbour had fled the Russians. He and his wife were great people. I used to go and stay in the summer holidays and I spent time with their son. Coincidentally, I also became friends with a lad from Walthamstow when he came to live in my hometown. So glad to see Walthamstow showing the racists that they won’t win.
  • I moved and lived in the UK multiple times (lived in middle, south and north of England) learned a lot, met a lot of wonderful people, and left 2 years ago. As a French person, I bow and admire the reaction of your people; I'm relieved for the ones I love and knew (and for all the peaceful ones). And I am thankful for this ray of hope in very dark times. We need to unite for defending our peaceful ways of life, most of us are good persons, not hatemongers driven mad by ... (this was, I am afraid, just a first try and will not be the last one, considered the current situation through all Europe and the interests at play.)
  • Love the positivity! So many switched on people. This show of solidarity is exactly what Britain needs right now.
  • I still blame the tory government & Nigel Farage it proves leaving the Eu🇪🇺 was the biggest mistake in history 🙆peace & love to London ❤🙏
  • That's why, as black mixed, i refused to leave London.😂😂😂

one stand out thing to me as an American.. The rioters were all people that looked like people i'd not speak to and the counter protestors look like normal types of people i'd have small talk with in line at a store.
