I work from home with 2 kids under 4. I do as much work as I would have done in an office after driving an hour. I reach my numbers in 4 hours. It's not my fault I am more productive at home with my kids. I am also able to care for my kids and the home. My husband does physical work for 10+ hours per day and fixes the misc things that break. He also helps me with the kids and also helps me pick up from time to time. I would never expect him to help me, but he does because we are partners. I try to help him with the big stuff at home but I can't carry the water heater up the stairs. I can't fix the broken sump pump. I don't want to get on the roof to patch it up. There are so many things that he does. I respect everything he contributes to our family. He does so much more than I do. He deserves to come home to a relatively clean home and something to eat. He grateful for the things I do. It doesn't matter if I make microwave meals and home cooked ones. He's just grateful I am his partner, his wife, and the mother to his children.

My father works from home, both my brothers work from home, and I myself work from home. We all live in different homes, so we operate out of both slack and discord as we manage a business, so we're often privy to when any of the others are online. Every one of us works WELL beyond 8 hours a day, bridging into 11-12 most days including the weekends. Working from home doesn't mean not working.
  • I'm glad Kris has a bf that makes similar content on youtube, so I have more vids to watch as I procrastinate. Kris is my favorite. Always entertaining, and I'm here for it :)

I too am in a relationship that my piers look up to. They’re always asking how we make it work. I feel like people over complicate their relationship, set unreasonable expectations, and view actions of affection and labors of love in a transactional sense. Just love your partner, don’t expect anything in return when you do something kind, and be understanding when they make mistakes (within reason). As long as you both do those things for eachother, you can take it a long way.

It's hard to truly judge with only ONE SIDE... humans tend to leave out, "forget" or share the 3rd version which is the full true story.
  • @Alicia-Faye
Okay so part of this video is dont ever work at hooters if you one day want a successful relationship basically 😂

I need relationship advice, how do I get a relationship?
  • My dad works for our military base here in Utah, and because of his crippling anxiety, he has been allowed to work from home. He still has to work 8 hour shifts though, and they beg them not to start working or end working within certain hours. You still can, but they prefer that you don't. He does work more than 8 hours some days and less other days, but for the most part, it's 8 hours. I will say that's the only work from home job that I KNOW for a fact what they're supposed to work, so that's my only input on your discussion about the first case.
