Ronstadt was a rare and remarkable vocalist. Glad she has been recognized as a national treasure. President Obama, confessed she was his boyhood crush - as she was for millions of boys and girls, men and women. A lot of dignity and warmth being displayed here. The arts are invaluable to our lives.

I have avoided reading this post for years. It saddens me to know that Linda Ronstadt has lost her voice having been diagnosed with Parkinson's!!! GOD BLESSED HER WITH A BEAUTIFUL VOICE that many people enjoy!!! I pray for a miracle for Linda Ronstadt that her beautiful voice be healed so that she may continue to beautify the world with her one of a kind voice & her songs!!! Linda was the best voice I've ever heard. Her song "Hasten down the Wind" is my all time favorite, and helped me through a difficult time. I'll always cherish her voice and she herself.
