I watched the original video of the Big Rig floating in the floodwaters. One of the first comments somebody made was something like. "That's gonna make it onto Bonehead Truckers."

If you drive into flood waters and must be rescued, automatic loss of license for ten years. It is entirely, completely avoidable. Requiring rescue resources at a time when they’re stretched thin to begin with is ridiculous.

The last driver hauling hay bales gets a BIG atta boy!! Sometimes doing multiple jack knifes is the only answer to making a corner. I drove tractor trailer boom truck hauling/ unloading roof trusses, often oversized (10-15 feet wide, and at times on trailers that were stretched well beyond 53'), and that maneuver saved my bacon many times over the years 👍

obviously the last vid. with the flatdecker knew the road, property and did the right course of action!! However, the fact that he actually got out of his truck, and viewed his surroundings speaks volumes of experience in trucking, and by doing that, showed that ...yes the industry may be going down-hill BUT if all drivers did what they are supposed to do, there would not be room for dissing the trucking industry...jes' sayin' ...
