SCP 049 is a Euclid Class anomaly also known as The Plague Doctor.
SCP-001 is an Apollyon Class anomaly also known as When Day Breaks.
SCP-049 is a humanoid entity, roughly 1.9 meters in height, which bears the appearance of a medieval plague doctor.
SCP049 is capable of speech in a variety of languages, though tends to prefer English or medieval French.
SCP-049 will become hostile with individuals it sees as being affected by the Pestilence, often having to be restrained should it encounter such. If left unchecked, SCP-049 will generally attempt to kill any such individual; SCP-049 is capable of causing all biological functions of an organism to cease through direct skin contact.
SCP-001 is the designation given to the Sun, after an event occurred that resulted in roughly 6.8 billion casualties within the first twenty-four hours. Upon contact with visible light produced by SCP 001, living organisms liquefy at the point of contact, with the effect spreading until the entire organism is converted into a form resembling melted wax. Organisms exposed to SCP001 though, do not perish.

Ive just realized that the Plague Doctor is one of the friendliest/kindest SCP to ever exist , i mean even though the Foundation has done everything thats possible for him to stop doing his work, the only purpose he has in his life, he still has the urge to save them

One can easily tell that SCP-035 truly is a monster, because he had the audacity to interrupt SCP-999 while he was playing with a wind-up toy car. Honestly how much of a $&@?€%£ do you have to be to do something like that?

"When Day Breaks" negates all anomalous properties of things that come into contact with the light. It might not melt the mask but it would render it unable to do anything.

I've always wondered 2 things since watching these what if videos 1. If SCP 035 and SCP 963 were placed on the same body, what would happen? Who would take control, the mask or Dr Bright? Would the order and time of when each were placed affect the outcome? Then the big question, would the consciousness of one of the artifacts eventually override the other completely and in turn, neutralize the SCP? 2. What happened with all those infected by anomalous viruses like SCP 008 and SCP 610 it when day broke? Would the Flesh creatures be affected by the sun the same? Would the 008 zombies be detected by the melted blobs as a creature it can absorb? Most importantly, could hosts of these viruses be infected by the others? Better yet, what if there was a host infected by all of them? Also, weren't the Eye-pods and Dr Spanko also part of 049's little party? What happened to them? Where'd they go?

I want part 4 so badly! I wish Dr. Bright and Plague Doctor could find a cure together. Would be so wholesome. Or, at the very least, survive and make it far away enough from the Mask

Considering how many scps can survive without flesh there's probably a lot more scps out there and I feel like some of the special anomaly scps could be very safe
