This chubby senior Chihuahua was so scared in the shelter. He was pulled by Rita Earl Blackwell for A Purposeful Rescue and ended up being fostered by actress Kaley Cuoco! He turned into the happiest puppy and she decided she couldn't live without him ❤️

  • She donated a bunch of stuff and money to the rescue we work with. She's a nice lady.
  • "I got a toy for Dumpy, not sure if he's gonna---" "Give me toy, woman!!!"
  • @donna19_
She’s literally living my dream- successful career and saving animals at the same time

His reaction to seeing the toy melted my entire heart

Her being the one to adopt the dog was unexpected.

“Babe do you really think anyone thought you were gonna give this dog way.” That just explained my entire relationship. 😂

Kaley is from the same county I live in, and she used to do local theatre around here, so I know many people who know her. She is the sweetest, most wonderful person, and she literally donates tens of thousands of dollars annually to local charities. I loved seeing this little slice of life in her home. She is such a blessing.

I just saw on TV where Dumpy passed away a few days ago. 😢 So sad...it always is. But I want to say a big Thank You to Kaley for adopting him and giving him a new life. They DO take over your heart! I have a 10 yr. old chihuahua mix and she has taken over mine. ❤

"He was old, he could hardly walk - I had to have him." Hey, there's hope for me yet.

I adopted a senior chihuahua several years ago. I had him for the last 3 years of his life. When I first got him, he was so sad and shy. It didn’t take long and he just blossomed. He was definitely my soul mate. He sadly passed away in September 2019. His little heart gave out and I held him in my arms and told him how much I loved him. I still miss my little protector.😢
  • Well Kaley Cuoco has just become my favourite actress now! It is so uplifting to see that sad little old dog being given the ultimate lifestyle and love he deserves! Good on her for looking after all of those lovely animals!

I never knew Kaley Cuoco had so many different animals. She seems like such a lovely person. I’m so happy for Dumpy 😊

A real person behind the 'Actress' persona. Like how she adopted a 'dismissable' foster dog and she had no problem with not being in 'full makeup' in bed. A true beauty inside and out.
  • Chihuahuas are so special. I never realized how amazing they are until I had one myself. No one snuggles quite like a Chihuahua ❤️
  • @kev2020
Me: How dare they name him Dumpy. How rude Me 3 mins later: Dumpster is definitely the bees knees.
  • @22arin22
Kaley: “he’s like my soulmate” Her husband: am I a joke to you
  • When I was in college we took care of my dads friends older chihuahua while he was in the hospital a few times. The owner unfortunately passed away and my family adopted him. I was not home a lot because I was in school but whenever I came home for whatever reason him and I always had some special bond and he was attached to me despite rarely being home. Since graduating I’ve moved out and he now lives with me and I even got him a little brother (another chihuahua). Never thought I’d be a chihuahua guy but now I’m a proud chihuahua father to two handsome little guys

I didn't want a Chihuahua. Or a third dog for that matter. Then I met my best friend. She is a 3 pound Chihuahua named Peanut. I got her on Dec 21st and she has changed my whole world. Those dogs love hard for how tiny they are. I can't imagine life without her.
