I've never gotten a tattoo, so I decided to take the plunge...and as a celebration for 5 million subscribers, I wanted to let you guys help me choose my very first tattoo! So I had you submit suggestions, and then I picked 4 options and had you all vote on YouTube, and then went to a parlor and got ~tatted~!

HER ARTIST USED TRANSPARENT FILM DRESSING!!! It's a medical dressing that let's it breathe, but fluid can't get in or out so it creates a false blister and protects the new tattoo the first few days when it's the most tender, seeping serum, and needs to be kept super clean. It's really nice to see an artist treating a tattoo with proper wound care ^_^

3:51 this one has got to be the dopest design presented in this video. It's a beautiful fusion of all the concepts and it's so... Sleek and it makes sense for Safiya to have it. I'm really sad she didn't pick it.
